If you're headed up or down 101, it's almost impossible to find a place to stop. This park has the holy trinity of shade trees, picnic tables, and clean restrooms. We enjoyed our 30-minute break here and had a peaceful lunch. Some places on the Internet say there is a $5 per car fee to enter, but we didn't have to pay anything when we came in on a Tuesday.

They have so much you can do here! They have a pool, tennis courts, barbecue pits, a stage, a huge growth area located in many parts of the park, a lot of parking, a lot of adventurous walks, and a park with swings and Teeter totters. This part definitely has a lot of stuff to do! So many memories in this park.

Nice park. My only complaint would be the restrooms. Other than that theres plenty of places to sit (picnic tables etc) & lots of big shady trees.
