We are a general contractor in Orange County who has been working in the HOA Market servicing the repair and maintenance needs at communities throughout the southland over the past 20 years.  We have had the opportunity to work for Ellie on a number of projects (she is a joy to work with!) and find that she, and all of the managers here at Nexus to be just tremendous to work with! It only took one phone call to take care of my request! We needed a new tenant's name and phone # added to the front door call box. I called Nexus and Raina gave me specific instructions on how to send the request. I did and a few days later, our new tenant is ready to receive her online deliveries. First, my background. I am a retired professional with over 40-years of experience in senior business management. Our community is 35-years old and my wife and I are original homeowners. It is a large community with $50K in monthly revenue, multistory structures and sizable grounds to maintain. I have served on many committees and as an HOA Board Member several times over the years. I am currently in my 3rd term as President.

An effective property management company must be able to assist the HOA Board in strategic planning. Manage the HOA's finances, including delinquencies. Handle emergencies, coordinate diverse contractor operations and payments, and support the HOA in complying with its regulatory obligations. They must also be able to interact with homeowners on a variety of issues including any grievances, legitimate or otherwise, they may have with the HOA.

We have had many property management companies over the years. Nexus is by far the best and most effective one we have ever had at executing the above tasks. The Nexus team is skilled and efficient. Ellie, our Nexus representative is exceptional at her often-difficult job. She is knowledgeable, responsive, innovative and eager to be of assistance. I've been working with nexus for about 5 years now. Jonathan and Ellie have a great management team in place that cares greatly about their clients and business partners. They excel at innovation, customer service, and team building.

I lost my storage key and needed to find someone who had a key. I really needed to get into the unit so I called and reached Rebecca. She was amazing! She emailed the homeowner who has graciously taken over the storage unit keys. We connected and I was able to make copies of the key. All this happened with a couple of hours. I couldn’t be more impressed.

I had a very positive experience working with Jonathan De La Torre with an after hours emergency call. I was very certain that I had a leak within my walls and called the emergency line to try and get someone out to address it. Johnathan picked up and listened to my issues and came up with a plan. I was confident I had a leak but from the my description of the issue Johnathan didn't think it was an actual leak. He explained to me that he didn't mind having someone come out but if it turned out to be a false alarm I could possibly be on the hook for the emergency call. He was very transparent in his explanations and was trying to save me on a big bill in case it actually wasn't a leak.

I got home and turned on the main valve like he said and the "leak" I was hearing disappeared! I felt a little stupid afterward but at the same time also was relieved there wasn't a leak and also very appreciative that Johnathan took the time to listen to my problems and make a proper diagnosis over the phone. It seems like he's been doing this for a while and really knew the common issues in my community.

I’m a pest control operator and I wanted to leave a review. Just letting people know that it was a pleasure working with Nexxus and Ellie a lot of management companies are not very communicative at all and they were great to work with!

What a welcome change to conducting online meetings with NEXUS. We used to meet outdoors or in someone's garage. Some evening meetings were brutally cold. Our property manager, Ellie, is on top of her game. Check them out.
