I never in my wildest dreams thought that I would ever find myself reviewing a cremation service company. But after suffering the unexpected (and nearly unbearable) loss of my son, I was forced to find a place to take care of his arrangements. In the moment of my son’s passing, I was beside myself with grief and at a loss to know where to go or who to turn to for this kind of service. Fortunately, I was given a pamphlet with several different options for postmortem care. I can’t honestly say why my first call was to the Cremation Society of Orange Coast (perhaps because its name reminded me of where my son attended school), but I’m sure glad it was. Greta was amazing to work with despite the painful circumstances that brought me to her. She said all the right things to both lessen my pain while explaining my options for post life care. After deciding to have my son cremated, I was grateful for how compassionate and respectful they were with his care and treatment. Greta and her staff were all amazing to work with, and I am confident that my son’s spirit appreciated the grace of his handling. Chances are that if you are reading this review, you too are grief stricken and wondering where to turn to for the kind of services you never imagined you would need. Have faith and know that the Cremation Society of Orange Coast will treat you and your loved one with dignity and compassion. I am so grateful I found them in one of my darkest hours of life. I have nothing but positive feedback regarding Cremation Society of Orange Coast. Sally was very helpful and extremely responsive to all my questions. The cremation and death certificate process took longer than I expected, but this was more an issue pertaining to uncooperative doctors and what not. Despite this, Cremation Society worked thoroughly to ensure everything was fulfilled.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Cremation Society of Orange County. Sally and Natalie were both so helpful, kind, and gentle during what was a painful and stressful time. Also, this was a very affordable option for what was a moderately unexpected passing. They took care of everything and I for that I am so thankful.

Everyone I spoke with and had interactions with, were very professional, patient, and understanding. When they came to pick up my husband they were respectful and kind and they even gave us extra time to say our final goodbyes. When it was time to make the final decisions and fill out the paperwork, Amy was both helpful and informative. We were able to bring him home a lot sooner than I expected, and they made sure everything was done correctly.

Prices for products and services were appropriate and fit my budget well. This mortuary was a big help to me on the unexpected passing of my mother. I was able to call them as I was driving over to her place and completed everything over the phone and via email. The man who came was on time and very compassionate durning the ordeal. I would highly recommend them.
