Honestly our go to spot when it’s time to get away from the city. This beach front Catina is really good. The food is great, the drinks are great, especially the mega margaritas. They are not cheap with the alcohol that’s forsure. Sandra was a great waitress and very attentive, always made sure we were hydrated lol. I recommend this place for sure. I was reading some of these comments and after coming here 2 years it’s been the same. No where near racist and far from being rude. Give it a shot

This place was amazing! The service was absolutely incredible! The waitress had such good energy, very upbeat, social, and friendly. The atmosphere was already really great, but she made the atmosphere even more amazing! I believe her name is Courtney according to the receipt. She should be promoted! Cabo is very lucky to have her! The food was incredible, very delicious and the DRINKS were bombbbbb! Love their super large margaritas and they have a lot of fun flavors to choose from! Great prices! If I was a local I would visit this spot all frequently!

Fantastic Mexican atmosphere of this cantina. In addition, the location almost next to the beach gives a great impression and makes you feel relaxed. Great place.

Mark and the staff are lovely. They have 2 for 1 drinks, 4 till 8 every day. Right on the beach, perfect for sunset drinks. Do yourself a favour pop in and enjoy the relaxed vibe and amazing drinks.

Really love everything about this place. Service was friendly and prompt. Food and drinks are on point. Definitely coming back when we're in town.

We live down the street and come in a few times a week! It always great to see Andrew as he is the reason we tried this place in the first place. Our kids love his advice and his stories!

We came here a few times, and enjoyed every time. Most delicious and biggest margaritas and tacos! also their loaded fries are yum! This is definitely where the party is at and everyone is super chill! View from the window is amazing and if you like to people watch, you will have great time!

We ride our bikes here, and able to park the bikes right outside. Which is nice, so we can keep an eye on our items.

Excellent food and service. The view is phenomenal and would go back here time and again if I lived here! When you choose to have tacos you can mix and match the kinds you have, which I loved! Had the surf and turf and the steak and shrimp were both cooked perfectly!

Great place to eat and get two for one margaritas! The service is always amazing and the food portions are huge! Reasonably priced and you can get walking margaritas. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Always love the giant margaritas, my favorite is the Coco Loco. The surf & turf tacos were gigantic and the streak fries are delicious.

I'm from out of state and was visiting with my family (small kids) they didn't care. Fantastic service, and getting the food was very fast!

Amazing atmosphere, food, and the margaritas were insane!!!! Ava was our waitress and even tho we jumped seats to find a window seat she found us and was a great sport!! Amazing customer service! She was training during our visit and the trainee Shanelle was awesome as well! We had the Cantina Chicken burrito and it was delish! the chicken was so tender and juicy and the pico was fresh! A must try the strawberry margarita with Tajin on the rim! YUM! 5 stars all around! The restaurant was clean, good music, and the sea breeze coming in from the ocean was heaven! A must try when in Newport!

Went here twice on vacation, for their tacos and margaritas (which they will make to-go), 2 for 1 during happy hour and including March Madness games. Service time between orders and food arriving is FAST. You can tell they are accustomed to volume business. We watched the Razorbacks take on NM State, Gonzaga and Memphis, and St Peters against Murray State all at the same time on their many TVs. Can get crowded but after 7 the place was empty! I appreciated their windows being open to the park and beach, but the bathroom situation is an issue. Lines, small cramped space seems like it was an after thought based on the size of the restaurant. The mens room doesn't have a stall door, and the single urinal is 5" from the sink with no divider.

We came for the happy hour drink specials. Let me say that they did not disappoint at all.
Our group had the Margaritas, and they were delicious and had the right amount of Patron silver in them.

The only not so good thing was the salsa they give you when you sit down. It tasted like water and spices. It had no heat to it at all. But the chips were delicious.

Food was amazing! Salsa is different, and good. Waitress kept our drinks flowing and chatted about our trip to Newport Beach. Go here! Walk, park your bike out front. Enjoy the food and atmosphere, then, the beach or people watching. To walk in, right off the beach, or, there is a window to get your drinks to go.

I had the Cantina Burrito (Grilled Chicken), a few Corona Extras, and enjoyed the atmosphere. Sorry, too hungry to snap a pic of the burrito.

Definitely recommend the Sunset rolls little tasty fun dish. My gf had the taquitos and they did not disappoint. We both ordered margaritas and we were a bit let down. They could've been a little better felt like they were lacking in flavor. The flavor wasn't so strong nor the alcohol it was right in the middle just meh. Would definitely go back to try again tho!

It’s my favorite place in LA. I love this cantina. Their fiesta fries are the best.
