The Streamliner Lounge

Great place for an delicious dinner and is a good value. This is the old Ruby's restaurant. This restaurant didn't do much to change the decor after taking it over from Ruby's, so it has a sort of a coffee shop feel which is fine. Food was delicious and service was excellent! They have a full bar, and live entertainment later in eve. We will be back!

We are in the area and we came here on Friday night. They had a band playing. I had the ribeye steak dinner. I had mushrooms and onions on the bottom of the steak. The steak was made perfectly. We had clam chowder soup with a basket of tater tot’s. The soup was really thick and delicious. We really enjoyed this restaurant. It’s like a train station on the inside you can take the Metrolink as it stops right outside very convenient, I recommend this place.

The Streamliner Lounge is a unique place with a neighborhood feel and excellent service. As a customer, I feel appreciated. The menu is traditional food that they make their own with personalized twists. Any exceptions I’ve asked for they accommodate if they can. They even have Gluten Free bread for us GF people.

Its nostalgic decor is what draws people in and I hope they never change it. The trains coming and going during daylight hours adds to the pleasure. If they were to redecorate or remodel, I probably wouldn’t enjoy it as much. I love it the way it is, and have been coming here ever since I moved to OC 14 years ago.

This place is very cool, I have eaten here for breakfast and had an after party here with colleagues.
The bar tender is one of the nicest bartenders I have ever met. Friendly, patient, when face with a tipsy crowd and he when above and beyond to get a cake we asked for, which wasn’t even on the menu.
Definitely go here, you won’t be disappointed, the decor, the people and the service are amazing.

What a treasure! Our family enjoyed an excellent meal tonight in this historic & charming setting, with huge portions, excellent food & quick service. The salad was flavorful & fresh, the sandwiches delicious & the desserts that passed by our table gorgeous. Our server, Shelley, was warm, charming & attentive & even channeled the retro ambiance. We enjoyed the restaurant when it was part of the Ruby’s chain, & even held a private party there a few years ago, but everything is now kicked up a big notch. We love the restaurants in the Orange circle, but do yourself a favor & go the short distance to the Streamliner for a tremendous experience!

Staff is excellent, including bartender/servers Bethany and Robert. Top-notch local and touring musical talent most Friday and Saturday nights. Food isn't what I want (which is the old menu from when this place was the Ruby's Diner) but it's great. Love the ambience and history here. A fave for sure.

We were introduced to this place by my Daughter. We came here for Breakfast before going to the Street Fair and been coming back almost every weekend since.
Great food at a great price. Servings are fairly large at everything we have tried was very good.
Service is excellent. Try to get a seat at the Bar. Victor the Bartender is outstanding. He is so friendly and makes great cocktails. Highly Recommended!

from The Steamliner to a Dreamliner, the Orient Express to the Orangeient Express, choo choo to voodoo it is all magic here. i dont even know if it’s wrong or right or left side of the tracks a locomotive theme or a 4 locomotif all i know is this is the very best wine and dine travel back in time train bar car this side of 1949! steam mine valentine je t’aime je train if this was a rihanna song it would be Love On The Train

Great place to eat. They used to be Ruby's but i like them better that they switched they have burgers and shakes but so much more on their menu. Joe server and victor are great! This is a great place to eat! Love it. Great for big group lunches. We had our ladies brunch here and all had such a great time!

Salmon grilled, sirloin med rare. Wow. Everything is always so good here!

Hidden gem in Orange /OTO. Great staff and the food is a great value, not overpriced. The burgers and melts are delicious. The surprise? Salmon is out of this world good!! Some of the special nights are Margarita Monday Tito Tuesday. When in town be sure to make this off the beaten path a must go to stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner or To-Go takeout. Try their nachos too!!

Just had the Char-Grilled Ribeye and it was awesome! Good price, grilled to order, and love the mushrooms and onions underneath. Great service and green beans!

This was the 1st time my husband and I came to the Streamliner. The food was great and so was the band. We had a lot of fun!! We will definitely be back.

I could cry because room service tossed my Bacon Brie Burg!!! I came in with my teen because we were attempting to catch a train to LA, I was judgy I admit!!! The atmosphere was train stationy... But by George! This place has the best food in Anaheim and I'd come down from San Francisco just for it... As a matter of fact im looking for an excuse in the near future and im ordering for there and to go ... Yea its partially my moon cycle talking (this place is now the official #craving relief spot),but man did it hit all the spots it could! 🫠Tha k you to the Creator of the creator and all the people involved in the delivery and from the point of the grill to my face!!! Amen. Can you come to San Francisco?

Great cocktails and love the train station watching all the trains come in and sometimes taking train also out to San Diego and of course I have friends that are very close

Great place to go see live local bands play music. Definitely a place for a more mature crowd. Food is able to be ordered from ruby's hamburgers. Greg the bartender is a great employee
