Beach Ball

One of my fav Newport Beach Bars… open 6am to 2pm… what more could u ask for 🤣… the drinks are very strong and the juke box is perfect, pool table in the back too!! Locals hangout and Next to Blackies so if ur not digging the Vibe hop next door 😎

Awesome place to have a quick drink. Our bartender was super friendly and made us a nice drink. They have a table pool games and nice music to vibe in.

Last stop on this trip. Bar tender was cool, the beer was good, and the place was pretty clean. Great place to chill with a drink and chat.

Bar tender was very nice and made a tasty, very pink drink for me which made me stand outs bit but again, it was tasty. Good times.

Beer/Alcohol: a handful of taps, bottle selection and hard alcohol. No food offered at this bar.

Final thoughts: The Beach Ball is right on the beach, literally. There are two large window fronts where you can take a seat and stare out into the Pacific Blue Ocean. Couple of pool tables and plenty of seating. Not your uppity crowd, down to earth hole in the wall type people, good people. You can catch a drink here and enjoy all the sights and sounds within a 1-minute walking distance.

My wife and I stumbled across this place.. and we definitely had the best time.. scooter welcomed us in as if we were regulars serving the best drinks 🍹 we'll be definitely be coming back..

I'm originally from Newport Beach and it's very nice to go back to a place that's been there all my life and I recommend going there at 6:30 in the morning and having a cocktail before you have a day at the beach it will make it a chill day for you feels like you're in a wooden ship looking at at the beach while having a cocktail 🍹

Great view of the beach. We visited in the middle of the day on a Monday before leaving California. That is the time to go! We had the place to ourselves. The bartender was friendly, the drinks were delicious, and having a beach/ocean view is just an added bonus. We purchased new shirts and will definitely be returning to the Beach Ball!

This was my favorite place when I lived down the street. Great bartenders, neat atmosphere. If you stand down by the pool tables, and look up towards the bar, it reminds me of a ship. I also like sitting by the front windows, and looking down on the peasants as they shuffle by.

I met many frendly people and had great times there. Don't forget a pretty good korean pool player.

A Newport Beach tradition one of the o g trilogy, blackie's, beach ball ,and mutt lunch ... unfortunately we're slowly loseing them. Just be prepared to spend your money

My favorite bar by far when I am bicoastal living from NYC to Newport Beach. Always love coming in here and having a drink. Love the Beach Ball.

Awesome little dive bar with great customer service. All the bartenders were very nice and the best thing about here was you didn't have to wait forever to get a beer or shot. Definitely would recommend coming here if you're looking for a good bar!

My favorite bar. Peter is the best bartender on the Peninsula. Always friendly and up for an interesting conversation. Todd, Scooter, Bubba are great too! Thank you for always making us feel welcome.

I spent all my 20's living in Newport. This was my local spot that we went to pretty much every weekend. Perfect location, right on the water down the newport boardwalk. It is a total dive bar. Dark, dingy, smells of beer and ocean breeze salt water. Has leopard print pool tables ha. They even have 10% IPAs on draft, at least they used to I haven't been back since I left Newport. What I loved about it was that it was never too crowded or had huge lines to get in, since it is not the cool spot to be at (like Muuts, Malarkys, Stag, Bluebeet). So it is not everything to everyone. But if you want a great dive bar right on the water and are looking to rip it up, this is your spot.

Gotta be the coolest bar in Newport Beach!!! The interior is crazy, looks like an old ship on the inside. The bartenders are super cool and not bad beer prices for a place with a beach view

Great bar,location and opens early..CC and I had never been to Newport Beach before.The bartender Melanie is the best.Her service was outstanding with a great personality Told us about all the local hang outs and
places to eat..She also recommended Seaside Bakery (6-doors down from bar) for the Croissant ham and cheese sandwich..She was right on and the donuts were delicious as well.We will be back....Thanks Melanie
