This place has the best location and has live music on the weekends. Food is prices very fair. Don’t rely on the negative reviews This place serves hundreds of happy customers daily and unfortunately good news doesn’t travel fast !

There Taco Tuesday Tasting was amazing last week! $1, $2, $3 Tacos that tasted so good with 8 different types of tacos. The avocado Taco, Buffalo Taco and Fajita taco was my favorite so far. Wish I got to try them all. One of the best Taco Tuesdays in Newport Beach. Sunday Brunch was a great deal. It was a $20 brunch with bottomless mimosas and they had different type with pineapple juice cranberry and I think a sunset one. Heard they have a dj on Friday and Saturday so I was planning on stopping by soon at night to see whats it's like.

The New York steak is delicious here! Definitely a must try if your coming here for lunch or dinner. There are a lot of restaurants in Newport, but only a select handful actually have an ocean view. I’d highly recommend this place for anyone looking for the perfect date night.

Wonderful fresh handmade pasta. Appetizers are perfect like toast with prosciutto baretta cheese and kara kara orange with dressed greens.

Warmly greeted by all staff. We visited for Valentines and were welcomed with flowers champagne and candles! Meal was good and the ambience was very romantic with seats positioned towards the water and away from the room.

My husband took me on an early valentine's day eve date zip lining & we worked up an appetite. He took me to The Peninsula Lounge & we sat on the bottom level right on the balcony with a view of the water & it was beautiful. The food was amazing & the service as well. We got to talk to the owner Mustafa & his son Ahmed. They are some of the sweetest people I've ever met. They also have rentals there so you can go have a great time on the water then have an amazing meal afterwards. I absolutely recommend this place. They definitely convinced us to be regulars with that experience.

The burger was excellent. Great view and a great small selection of beer. Staff was amazing, had a huge surge of people that were a bit loud and obnoxious, but the lone bartender and a single bar back did an outstanding job keeping things straight and getting everyone their drinks quickly.

Came here with friends on a night out, drinks were amazing, service was great and the whole vibe was just so fun!! We danced all night and took plenty of pictures, had a fun time overall.

Winston, our bartender was awesome and made great drinks. Our waitress Loe was also awesome and chef Dustin accommodated our personal request on the oysters. The manager and general manager also greeted us at our table

This is a nice place! Went here on a Saturday night, crowd is very diverse as well as the music. They have 2 levels and the upper level has an open patio. The drinks were very good and strong ( just like I like them) lol if you’re ever in the area stop by for a night of fun.

First of all I've been coming to the peninsula lounge since before it was what it is today. I'm talking 15 years! I can honestly say it's better than its every been! Starting with the food! I had the salmon plate, calamari, oysters, truffle fries, bloody Mary, and Michi! It was amazing!!! I mean so delish! We also were able to paddle board a bit through the harbor. What a prefect day and location to end the day! I will definitely come again with friends. I was impressed with the changes and the service!

Ahmed is the best host there he made sure that we had everything we needed. The tables were arranged perfectly and they accommodated us with everything we asked for. Ask for Ahmed if you want to have an amazing time.

Dinner last night was delicious and made all the more enjoyable by the keyboard offerings of Justin Abrams and female guitar partner.
Broccolini, crab cakes and spicy potatoes from the 'small plates' menu will have you checking with the chef for the source of the wonderful flavors. If you thought you knew fresh vegetable, get ready to be surprised!
(Worth mentioning this restaurant had "Mr. G's in front of the name but that is gone now and Jared is managing a whole new creation)

I had a good time. Service was great. Mr. G brought me my salad with those house made croutons with sage. Mmmmgood! Then I got the demi mushroom burger and fries. It's so good I'm glad I don't live near the Peninsula or I'd be eating that burger every day and be as big as a house! Lol. It is that good. It hits every taste receptor in your mouth. Save up your appetite because it is HUGE! And juicy. I needed two napkins just to get through the burger. It gets all over the place. 😀

Fantastic food and drinks. One of the best Old Fashion's I have ever had. The wagu burger was amazing. Can't beat the location. Not too pricey. Top spot in OC.

Superb on food and friendly customer service by staff. And marmalade jam was killer thing that blew my mind. Absolute No.1 on top of all food we ordered. Two thumbs up!!!

I am in constant search for craft cocktails, and this place DOES IT RIGHT.

They are also super excites about the craft cocktails which is fun, and their staff has such happy good energy. 💛
