Mutts offers everything you'd expect from such a well established restaurant. The food, service & view out those large open windows are top shelf. Prepare yourselves for those large servings.

The atmosphere is amazing. It was already pretty packed for a Thursday at 11:00am which just shows that this was a great pick to start the day with. We got the Ballast Point IPA in a 60 oz beer glass which was amazing. If you Love to drink then this is the place for you. We had some jalapeño poppers too which were delicious. Great Summer hangout place with good prices.
Will be back again.

Dined at Mutts recently and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance is warm and inviting, while the menu boasts a delightful range of flavorful dishes. I especially loved the pastrami sandwich, a true taste sensation! The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, kind. I especially appreciated Megan. She provided great food recommendations and service. I highly recommend for both the food and experience; I'll definitely be returning.

Definitely recommend!! Indoor seating only, but has an open concept with open walls with views of the boardwalk and beach. Variety of food and drink options.

We lucked out and got a bar spot with the view, but with parking directly in front, you don't see much of the beach, but it is still a great spot with fresh air.

Four of us split the fried pickles, wedge salad, and a medium white out pizza and had some leftovers. It all was super tasty! We also enjoyed their draft beer options! Yum!!

Super fun atmosphere in a great location near the pier, other restaurants, ice cream and shopping.

Great burgers...cold beer and terrific atmosphere to watch football. The service was amazing. The manager greeted us and our server was fantastic

Service was good/friendly/prompt. Even when the 4 top behind us turned into a 14ish top (teenagers regrouping) waitress still did a good job.
F O O D!!! Went for breakfast and mimosas both were delicious! Hubs had the chilequilles; perfectly crisp tortillas covered in a spicy red chile sauce with a sunny side up egg. Hubs said it was the best he's had, North of the border, so Mexican approved!
I had the longboard; PERFECTLY made hashbrowns (crispy/succulent/seasoned)
with an egg white scramble made of chicken, onions, bacon and cheese, topped with an avocado...amazing and filling!
My son had the top o the mornin sandwich which he absolutely loved and it looked delicious!!
I'm always down to try a great mixture for mimosa and they've got a few and they don't disappoint 🙂

Love the place! The vibe is amazing and the music, people and views are awesome. Grab some mimosas and enjoy the day!

Pizza is Great for people watching the Best. IVE BEEN COMING HERE SINCE DANS DAD. BOUGHT THE PLACE FROM Hanks Seafood Yes I've been here before Newpot Changed. 1962. US Locals are Rare. But We Love This Place Politics Aside. It is a Fantasic Place to Have Fantastic food and People Watching. MARK L.

Been going to this place for atleast 15 years when visiting Newport. The service is great. The pizza is quite good for California pizza (pizza snob). In the summer the windows are wide open and you can sit there and feel the breeze come right off the ocean. I always get one schooner of beer. That’s basically one really big beer. All you need. Make sure you aren’t driving. After you eat take a walk down the pier to burn off the calories.

What a fun atmosphere and an extremely well oiled business! The service was phenomenal from the moment of checking in. The view was great, chicken fried steak one of the best I’ve had, and our waitress amazing. Everyone was having a great time!

Outstanding! The food was so great! I had the fish and chips and they gave you way more than anybody should eat.. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and also down to earth! It was the perfect place for a meal while hanging out on the Newport Shoreline today. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

I have found my favorite football spot! It's never too crazy packed , the energy is so vibrant, I've had so many different food items on the menu ,and everything from their spinach dip to the southwest egg rolls to the tuna melt ( my favorite) oh and definitely HAVE to try the pterodactyl wings! Not to mention the service ! I usually have Kassity and Tony, They never fail to go out of their way to give us phenomenal service!

Its a great place to eat and drink right on the beach. We got there at the end of breakfast so we were able to order off the breakfast and lunch menu. A couple of spicy bloody marys had us feeling really good on a chilly morning. Food was great and the service was amazing. Such a great place!

Food is good servings are most often good but figure in the cost have to go with a 4. Service is a bit slow because it is understaffed during busy hours. Atmosphere makes up for the other problems which is why it is an overall 5 and a place I would recommend. Don’t be in a hurry and except you are paying a Newport premium and you will have a good time!

16, 32 and 60 ounce pours available for almost all the drafts available. Don’t have a full bar but do have an impressive draft list. Tons of food too although I didn’t eat.

Its always great coming here. This bar and grill is located right by the ocean in Newport Beach. You can sit here and enjoy a beer while drinking a cold beer. And all the food is great..

The food is awesome! The view is even better. You can enjoy your food while watching the sunset.

What a cute spot right on the beach! I came in around 2pm on Wed and sat at the bar. The bartender made me a snakebite and I ordered the sampler app with guac, tzatziki, and bruschetta and a plate of fries. She recommended the garlic fries so I got those. They were stellar! The plate was HUGE and served with a side of ranch. I will def be back to this cute spot, hopefully when the weather is a little warmer!
