Newport Beach Fire-Lifeguard

These lifeguards are all so friendly, and each time our son waved at them driving by they would wave back. Special shout out to Trent, who took the time to stop and show our son the truck and talk a bit about what he does. It was a really special moment our son couldn't stop talking about. Thanks for all you do!

So...we were visiting from Phoenix, AZ and went swimming at Newport Beach this past Sunday. Very beautiful there and people are very friendly. We were relaxing with our yellow and black Boogie Board and wondered blindly into a rip current. I was oblivious until the Lifeguard shouted out and a Good Samaritan (who was swimming next to us) came over to see if we were OK. We got closer to the shore and were fine. It was nice to see the Lifeguard so attentive and it's better to be safe than sorry. Thanks so much Lifeguard!!!

Me and my sister dropped our keys in the water at a dock and we called the cost guard a few times but went to voice mail each time. We went to the beach to find a life guard who could help and they said they could and then a life guard named Blake B. came super quickly and then went into the water to find our keys and he did first try! He was super friendly and helpful! Thanks so much Blake!!

My family sat on the beach all day on Sunday and watched how hard the lifeguards at tower 17 worked. There was a rip tide and he was in the water all day warning and helping people. He was so conscience of all the swimmers. Thank you for all your hard work making our beaches safe😊

My three friends and I were visiting for the day, and we nearly drowned when we got swept out yesterday. I'm so thankful for the lifeguards on duty who went above and beyond to pull us out, drive us to safety in the boat, swim us to shore, and stay with us. I can't say how blessed we were that they were there. God bless you, crew working towers 17-19 and 24! We wouldn't have made it without you.

Thank you guys for helping me after a wave bodyslam - professional, caring quick to react - world-class. Got our bikes returned took care of my wife and drove her to ferry . Above and beyond the call of duty. You should be proud of yourselves. Going to the emergency was a good call - lucklily nothing bad happened just a sprained back - and ego :-)

This is where they run the Lifeguard Operations for all the Newport Beachs. They do training here also.You can watch them practice from the Pier.
My family rented a place here for a week during the 4th of July week. We had a great time kids lived the fireworks.
