Animal Diagnostic Laboratory - Lab For Pets

After suddenly and very unexpectedly losing our young cat, we reached out to Lab for Pets and were able to bring him to the facility on the same day for necropsy (postmortem) services. The pathologist was very kind, communicative and transparent about the entire process (our first time going through this type of process). The final lab report was emailed to us and I received a phone call from the pathologist on the same day the report was emailed, where he spent time explaining the findings and making the report easier to understand. The pathologist also offered guidance and recommendations for the surviving littermate, given the results. The remains were then Fed Ex'ed overnight to us because we live in a different county and so we wouldn't have to drive back up to get them. They were beautifully and thoughtfully packaged as well. A lot of love seemed to go into that final part. I would very much recommend Lab for Pets for their necropsy and other services. Our sweet dog, Holly suddenly passed a couple weeks ago. Our vet recommended LabForPets. And thank goodness. We needed fecal tests for our two Doxies and instead of just going through the vet for this, I looked around and found Lab For Pets offers this service.

Not only did the lab perform the tests overnight, but the cost was also half of what the vet would have charged. It's nice to know you can get help with a service such as this without having to "pay the middleman" so to speak.

We lost our cat all of a sudden. He was our first pet and he was a very energetic cat. We were devastated to know the cause of his death.

We called some animals hospitals around, they either didn't accept us or charged us at an unacceptable rate. In the end, we found the Animal Diagnostic Laboratory. Dr. Shahriar took us and he accepted our request to do the cremation after the necropsy. This made us feel kind of better after a mournful day.

We brought the cat to the lab the next morning. We didn't put his body in the fridge overnight. If you are in such a situation, you need to put the body in the fridge. Dr. Shahriar promised to give us the result in 2-3 weeks and will keep us posted.

We got the necropsy report in time. Dr. Shahriar performed pathology analysis on most of the body parts and found the potential cause of the cat's death. He pointed out a deadly disease that we had seen our cat had the symptoms before. We agreed it is very likely this is the cause. We feel very sorry to the cat that we neglected his symptoms all the time. In the meanwhile, we were very impressed that Dr. Shahriar can find this disease with limited context.

Dr. Shahriar is very professional and warm-hearted. We are very grateful to choose his service. The whole process is very smooth. He explained the report to us and answered all our questions.
