Amazing Bar offering so many drink choices for you to choose from. The Bartender Mateo is not only Friendly but, Knowledgeable about making you the drink you want but also suggesting something better to sooth your pallet. Very lively place. In terms of nightlife, I'd say it's in the top 3 places in Downtown HB. It seems like there is always something going on at this place even on Weekdays. In fact, I stopped in on a Monday night at around 10pm and there was a band playing inside.

As one imagine, the atmosphere is quite upbeat. The prices are about what you'd expect for a place like this right downtown. Certainly not a bargain, but nothing outrageous.

Overall, this place is worth the visit if you are looking for a good nightlife scene.

I've not eaten the food but if it's Anything like the drinks, you will be thrilled. This place is fire. Best band, drinks, energy in the area. Karaoke night offers fun and acceptance. Come get you party on with this place

For a long time standing local bar (just off the beaten sandy Huntington beach path, but still close enough to feel the cool ocean air on your face) this the place to be. From local bands to broadcasted tunes this is a wonderfully welcoming and friendly watering hole for both locals and visitors. Happy hour specials keep patrons from going broke and drinks are delicious, be advised some bartenders have heavier hands than others, but all are worth generous tipping. It's the perfect spot to celebrate a long time frequent flyer or fade into the shadows, for all are welcome. As a visitor I feel as though the customer service reciprocated what I gave (not based on who I knew or sat with). So if you're 21-101 yrs old and wanting to engldulge yourself in an eclectic environment this is where the festivities begin and end. Celebrating America's birthday-I'm glad I stopped into this local bar and was welcomed like a local.

One of the oldest and nicest little secrets on Main street Huntington Beach, Just steps from Pacific Coast Highway & Pier, with window tables and seating for many, live music, plenty of craft & Draft Beers Full Service Bar and mixed drinks, Hang with locals and Be apart of the scene.
Say hi to Lola rose (3 yr old puppy will pose for pics) and her owner, will greet you on entry, dont miss this stop !

Drinks are reasonably inexpensive so that's good. If you are ever in HB and Gearheart is playing Perqs stop in and support the boys.

Don't know about food cuz I didn't try any the service and atmosphere are the best there is in Huntington Beach. A great place to get refreshed and have a good time out by the ocean

The best dive bar ever. Not only has it been around forever, it has nightly specials and/or live entertainment. Did I mention the awesome bartenders......

Visiting the area and had a great time at karaoke. Crowd was a decent age, and did some great tunes. Hosts were friendly, drinks were great and priced well. Overall a great time was had by all! Would have loved some food there. But Del Taco did in a pinch on the way home...

My favorite bar!!

Perqs has won my heart. It is the best bar in Huntington Beach. Quaint, quiet, and welcoming during the day. At night the bar transforms into an all out rager with live bands, karaoke, or the jukebox. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The security doesn't skip a beat. I just can't say enough. So check this place out and enjoy downtown Huntington Beach and all it's beauty it has to offer. Cheers Perqs.

Great band. Weird crowd. No waitress service.

This place is truly Huntington Beach. Thankfully there are still "dive bars" in Huntington as opposed to Newport, Manhattan, Laguna etc. If you are looking for a nice diverse food menu, this is not your place. If, on the other hand, you are in the mood for a non-pretentious cold beer and a chill setting, this is it. Music is normally something from the 80s or 90s and the volume is reasonable, so you can actually sit and talk to people. Imagine that. I noted fewer than normal people on the phones. People talk. Kind of cool. There are darts towards the back. They attract a solid and talented Karoke group on the right night. Parking is street, but beware on Tuesday. The whole street is closed for a farmers market / street fair for most of the day. I believe it starts around 2. if you find a parking spot don't back in; that will get you a ticket on Main street. If you are fortunate enough to get one of the seats at the window, you just secured one of the best people watching places in the area. In foot traffic and the old cars/ custom cars are non stop. Enjoy!
