Congregation Ale House Santa Ana Chapter

Celebrated my heath and wellness for losing 65lbs. Stopped off at Congregation Ale House for lunch and a cold brew! The staff were amazing! Played all my favorite Shakira songs! I ordered the Basic Cheese Burger, and it was prepared just the way I asked. I walked out very satisfied! A+++++++++++

My experience was beyond than expected! And it was great! Our server Angel was attentive and gave great suggestions towards if the drink we chose was the best decision or not. The food was really delicious! They are really big so hope you have a big appetite or ready to share!

This place takes me back to when the gastropubs were just hitting the scene in Santa Ana. Good beer, great service, amazing food, laid back unpretentious atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. The best of all worlds and well worth checking out. A great selection of bar foods with a good variety that includes vegetarian options. I had the duck and bacon sausage while my friend chose the veggie burger. Both were absolutely delicious. I'll definitely continue to come here. Consider me a convert.

The atmosphere was super chill on a Tuesday night. The sausage platter was great! 👌🏼 I also had the grilled chicken sandwich which was satisfying. & A couple of the noir beers. Which is a dark beer. I'm not sure if it's a stout or dark ale but it was tasty! I would definitely recommend this place to friends & family.

This place is a must in the downtown Santa Ana area. Friendly staff, always a good selection of fresh beers and food is prepared by a real chef.

Came for drinks and the server was AMAAAAZING!!!! Made us feel welcomed. The place itself is by a busy street but with the surround sound you couldn’t tell.

This place is great new place to go have good beer and good food in DTSA. Their house brews are amazing and the server Gerardo made visiting this place even more enjoyable. He gave us samples of each of their brews and informed us a little about each brew before we chose to help us decide which brew we wanted. All three were great! We will definitely go back again and I highly recommend this place!!

A beautiful bar in downtown Santa Ana. Their draft selection is amazing, and the vibes are perfect for any evening out. We absolutely love their late night Happy Hour - this is our go to spot for any late night drinks walking around the neighborhood.

Gerardo was super attentive. Great at making us feel welcome. Drinks were about half of the food order. Hand made tortilla and buns for the hamburger. Everything tasted fresh. Would go back again to check out trivia night.

Where do I start? My friend and I came here on a Wednesday night and didn't know they have Trivia (specifically on Wednesdays)! Participating in the Trivia games was so fun and the host makes the room lively, which made my experience here even more awesome. You will defiantly see me here more often, for the drinks and for the food. Overall everyone is super friendly and the food is amazing! Highly recommend going to their trivia nights!

Was here with friends. the staff was super friendly and had lots of helpful suggestions. the food was pretty good and the drinks were great. We had a great time, opened a tab had fun then closed out easily when ready to go. All in all great place and plan to go back sometime.

This was a fantastic way to end a busy work day. Stop by and grab some nachos, a burger and choose from several fantastic beers.

Congregation is my top choice for a burger and a beer!
The prices are right.

Though the burger presentation seems small and odd at first -- sideways in a basket, I discovered it was very filling and the perfect way to place a well stuffed burger for consumption. I could even put it back down and pick it up without making a mess. The burgers are at least as good as any of the fancy, dedicated burger places I've tried -- sophisticated preparation.

Only a couple TV screens visible from most seats but a good low key alternative for keeping track of the popular live game(s).

I haven't seen the place get very crowded and they have a ton of seats. Its a great place to congregate with a large group.

Of course the DO have great beer choices but they also have a well stocked bar with pro bartenders eager to engage their talents.

This is a great place to come and hang out. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and on weeknights it is not crowded. Great food, excellent beer selection, and an assortment of hard alcohol as well (something for everyone). I could see this place getting crowded on weekends though, so plan wisely.
The only downside is the music volume. It is a cavernous main room, so it echos. The music is up quite loud, so expect to shout if you want to have any sort of conversation with someone more than 12 inches from you. So if loud places are not your thing, I would probably choose another location.

This place is under New Management and it has turned into a lovely neighborhood friendly restaurant. I really enjoy the menu and the staff are delightful.

Great service, delicious food at a reasonable price and a pretty good rotating selection of craft beer. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about beer/food parings. Very relaxed atmosphere.
