Came in just for drinks, but then was pleasantly surprised to see 4 different vegan tacos on the menu!
Also, they are a FC Barça fan bar, so you can be sure to catch a match on one of their tvs.

I go for the vegan/vegetarian food and the amazing cocktails!

I tried the carrot taco last time, mostly because I was curious. It was amazing!

The octopus was cooked to perfection. It was soft enough to cut with a fork but charred a bit to give it that sensation. We had carnitas and octopus tacos, guacamole, and churros which I highly recommend everything

They have mezcal, amazing tacos, and EXCELLENT customer service. What more can you ask for? The Sea of Cortez Tacos are my favorite.

TL;DR: Amazing food, get a group of friends and go there now so you can order everything and get to taste it all. Also, fabulous drinks.

Lola Gaspar was a delightful find for our group. A group of friends met up for beer at a The Good Beer Company and after a few tastes and a pint or two realized that we needed to eat. 4 of the 5 of us love tapas and so we decided to introduce our friend to the delights of tapas. Since none of us had ever been here we were a little apprehensive but we shouldn't have been.

We walked over and the inside space was tiny and didn't seem to have room for our group but the outside was empty and the heaters were on. I'm usually the one who objects to eating outside because I get cold quickly but even I was fine. After looking over the menu, we asked our waitress what we should expect in portions for several of the items because different tapas places vary on amount of food delivered as it is expected to be shared.

I should have taken a picture of the menu so I could remember everything we ordered but honestly, everything was great. We didn't have a single bite that was mediocre or sub par.

The chips and guacamole were delicious and the two salsas that came with; one was slightly sweet and the other more smoky, chipotle style. We went through guacamole quickly and added the other salsas to different dishes. The nacho fries were easily one of the favorites of the night with several people making noises about ordering a second if we had room in our stomachs which we didn't. We also ordered the dates and I really wanted a second order of those. The steak make-your-own tacos were my favorite of the tacos but others loved the prawn and short rib better. I don't remember what the third order of tacos contained other than pork but they were apparently delicious also as a second plate of those were ordered.

For desert we ordered the pot de creme and the bread pudding and neither lasted long although I think the bread pudding won the dessert round. As for drinks, great cocktails, beer and wine. A well rounded drink menu to make everyone happy.

We had wonderful cocktails although were tempted by the mezcal flights. Food was outstanding including the best chile relleno ever - not sure how they get the outside so crispy and delicious. The atmosphere was lively but also charming and romantic. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Great vibe.

Been going here for over 10 years and they never disappoint!! Chef Lou and his team are always on point!! Taco Tuesday is a must here!! The drinks are also amazing.

Great Tapas place but centered on Mexican food. The food is tasty. It's not the cheapest place but the price is also not too outlandish. Many of the dishes are difficult to share so come with someone you don't mind sharing a single taco with. The atmosphere is nice with oil lamps in the evening. I would recommend stopping by. The staff is very nice and checks on the table as much as they can.

We are living in a different times, things aren’t normal but we have to do with what we got. I’m glad some places are still open like Lola Gaspar . Located in the heart of Downtown Santa Ana, this places has a nice outside patio to eat. I started off with esquite which hit the spot right away. Next I order the chorizo and bean tacos which by the way “killer” spicy 🌶 to it. Next was a carnitas tacos, nice and tender both on flower tortillas.

Stopped by for their Sunday BBQ where they had a huge grill out in the back. You could choose to order tacos individually to try the different meats; or order by 1/2 pound to split. I tried the octopus & sausage one-absolutely amazing. Food is on the pricier side; but you're getting good quality food.

So delicious 😋 everything on their menu is bomb 💣. Drinks are refreshing 🍻 🍹 This is the best carnitas torta I've ever had! Definitely try out when in town.

You haven't lived until you've tasted their bacon wrapped figs appetizer.

We were traveling from out of state and were lucky enough to stumble upon this gem. The flavor combinations are expertly thought out and perfectly executed. The service was excellent and the quiet dark ambiance was romantic.

The chef relies on the true flavors on the food to shine through instead of overly salting everything, which is rare in the industry. I'm a huge fan and wished I lived in the area to taste this food more often.

I love this hidden little gem of a restaurant with exceptional craft cocktails. Amazing eats and friendly staff that make you feel welcomed to hang out for hours.

Amazing little restaurant/bar. The drinks were delicious and the food expertly crafted. The highest compliments to the chef for such a wonderful menu. Perfect date night venue.

Great spot in DTSA. Limited menu at lunch (tacos, quesadilla, guacamole & chips) but quality is excellent. Nice patio, friendly staff. Cheers!

I have been coming here for 10 years, hands down one of my favorite spots in So Cal. The food is great. The drinks are always on point. TIP: if you like sangria's, you will love Lola Gaspar's red sangria.

I have dined here twice. I have sat outside both times. The tacos and food have been excellent. The drinks have been excellent as well. Staff has been friendly and accommodating.

Expensive, but fantastic food. Very much worth the cost if you're not looking to gorge yourself.

Awesome place to eat and drink. The staff is amazing. They always remember our names and are very entertaining. Been coming here for 10+ years.
