Radiator Springs Racers

Definitely one of the best rides in California Adventure! You get to experience nice views, see different characters, and you even do some "race prep" before going head to head with another car (purely on a fixed track, of course)

I highly suggest using (or purchasing rather) Genie+ for this ride as the wait time can be pretty long.

This thrilling ride is definitely one of my favorites!

You start out cruising through amazing scenes from the movies & world. You see the falls, Mater and other key locations. Then you take a little out stop for either some new tires or a fresh coat of paint before you pull alongside another car. This is where the fun begins as you race along a track at lightning speeds. You take dips, sharp turns and other thrilling moves that gets you smiling with excitement.

On another note it does breakdown often and since it's a popular ride the lines are often long.

The wait time can be literally brutal for this, but the ride is phenomenal. See pictures!

Super fun, fast, exciting, but long long LONG waits. Go for the single rider. Much faster!!

This ride took and estimated $200,000,000 to build.... Worth EVERY PENNY! From the wait line to the finish... This ride is a thrill and a joy for the eyes, ears and soul! The ride is great for all ages and is a movie emersion feel ride that does not disappoint.

Love this ride. I go on it every time when in the park. It moves through the garage area for about a minute or two, and then you race (automated) another car through straights and curves on the last part of the ride. It moves fast, but not scary.

Posted. Ours said 120 minutes and we were only in line a little over an hour and a half. The ride itself is amazing. It broke down once today and was down for a few hours. Been running smooth since then.

Arguably, the best ride in Disneyland parks. Modern, fast, realistic to the movie. Yes, it does break down occasionally. We went straight to RS the second we got in California Adventure. Must have been the 1% of riders that waited less time than the actual length of the ride.

My advice:
-Make it your first ride at opening of the park.
-Go for the single rider lane (unless you have really young ones)
-You may just have to pay the $15 LL to cut the crowds. It’s worth it. Just do it.

One of the better rides- it starts slow with plenty of character and animatronics. It ends with a great race that includes speed, G-force, and some tight turns.

Shame the line is always so long.

Radiator springs racers is one of the most popular rides in CA Adventure. Again, this was a pay lightning lane so I decided to spring for it rather than wait. It did save us a lot of time in the queue and we were seated with others in a car's land vehicle designed for six people.

The ride started leisurely through the boulders and waterfalls of the AZ makeshift monument canyon and then we entered the world of cars. Not being familiar with the movie I liked the way the autoanimatronic vehicles welcomed us and showed us the various aspects such as Fios V8, the service station, and then into Luigi's for a paint job. It is here that you are lined up with another vehicle for your race.

With the ready, set, go you are off on a high speed winding, twisting and dipping race to the finish line. Without my glasses on I couldn't see who won but hey, its all in fun and both cars follow the same course till you end up near the Cozy Caverns hotel with two cars welcoming you back signaling the end of the ride.

For some reason we never saw our photos as they were being displayed on the screen and with the turnaround time being so long we decided to bag downloading our image on the race.

Definitely ride it once if visiting CA Adventure and pay the upcharge for lightning lane. It isn't as expensive as some of the other lightning lane upcharges.

Best ride in DCA, such a great experience to drive through radiator spring while passing some of the favorite characters. The line for this is consistenly very long so if you have genie plus, we'll worth it to get the lightning lane.

This is ride is so much fun! The scenery looks exactly like you're inside the movie! The ride goes pretty fast but it's not too scary. The ride shuts down occasionally, but overall just such a cool experience!

This is a really unpopular opinion, but this ride is the best ride in the whole resort, even better than rise of the resistance. I know a lot of people think I sound crazy for that but I just prefer the grandness and the rockwork and all the speed and the life sized cars and the music. All of it is just better on this ride. The one thing rise does better would be the line, this rides line isn't very interesting and it is always the longest after rise of the resistance.

This ride is pure joy. It feels like you are in the cars movie. The line for this I would say is the longest in all of California adventure, so we ponied up and bought the lightning lane pass on the genie plus. We have 3 kids which is why we didn’t do the single rider, but I would absolutely suggest doing single rider lane on this. The magnitude of this ride is impressive, when you are in the cars land it’s pretty much all you can see and it’s super fun. No upside down and just all around fun

One of my top three in the parks. Definitely one of the coolest movie rides there is.

Great attention to detail in every aspect of this ride. The queue is usually long but there is so much detail along the way that it is enjoyable the entire way through. The ride is well designed and is a lot of fun. If you are watching others, there are some great viewpoints to watch the cars go by.

Definitely the best ride at DCA, possibly one of Disney's best attractions period. From the theming of the queue to the actual ride itself. It has a perfect mix of thrills and classic dark ride with some of the most impressive animatronics you'll see. Doc Hudson is very well done and has held up perfectly to this day.

It's fun knowing that there's some element of surprise each time you ride with which scene you'll get before racing, and seeing who wins.

The line is consistently long, but honestly, if it's an hour or so, it's worth waiting for. Single rider is a good option too if you don't mind splitting up your party.

TIP: if possible go SINGLE RIDER will save you hours of time standing in line.

Very well created ride to begin with and then its picks up the speed going through scinic route

The ride itself was excellent… well thought out and thrilling at the end… the wait time was verrrrrry long… so get there early or get the lightning pass… if you have young kids, get this out of the way earlier in the day
