Birkenstock Costa Mesa

I haven't owned a pair of Birkenstocks in years, so I figured I should try a pair on instead of buying online. The sizes are quite different from shoe sizes.

I was helped by Carolina. She was very knowledgeable about the styles and brands, and helped me try on a few pairs.

I was between a 9 and 10 size, so it took me some time to decide. I appreciated that Carolina was patient and understanding.

TOP QUALITY FOOTWEAR ! My wife was on a mission to buy some comfortable travel footwear. We fly to Paris on Tuesday for a 3 weekday vacation in Italy and France. We have been wearing Birkenstock sandals for around 14 years.....probably me a bit more than my wife. VERY COMFORTABLE ! In fact I bought an EVA ( resin ) version of my Arizona sandals a couple of years ago...for indoor wear. I've been suggesting to my wife for some time that they may suit her. FINALLY ! This morning we headed straight here to buy a pair of Arizona Essentials sandals like mine...except not black. We parked out front about 10.30am. A friendly dude greeted us as we walked inside.....it was Marius the owner. TO THE POINT ! My wife knew exactly what style she wanted....it was simply a matter of which color. After trying on a pair in Candy Pink....we had a narrow winner over the Sky Blue. GOOD VALUE !

I was a little hesitant to shop here because some of the reviews about the owner, but thought I'd give it a try anyways. I'm so glad I did! The owner was very knowledgeable. You can tell he has a love for Birkenstocks. Me and my husband had a great experience here. Came away with 2 pairs and only went for one. 😆

Just stopped by looking for comfortable professional shoes. Didn’t find what I was looking for so I asked the owner about what I was hoping to find. He advised against my choice as it wouldn’t have been suitable for my needs. He didn’t try to upsell or promote anything else and even referred me to a larger retailer at the loss of my business. So glad I stopped in! He was knowledgeable and quite friendly so I don’t know what the comments about the owner are about. Would definitely stop by for his advice in Birkenstocks.

First time in trying and buying a pair of Birkenstock men’s clogs. John was extremely attentive and thorough in sizing my feet and educating me about the clogs that I was interested in. Excellent service. They fit perfectly like a glove. I chose the Boston suede soft bed style. Definitely recommend this establishment. 😊👍

It was a cool little shop. I was shopping with my wife. The Asian who work there (may be the owner) was really nice. He helped my wife figure out the size (we forgot our size sometime) and he’s very knowledgeable about Birk.
Lots of selection there compared to some big shoes franchises.

The owner knows what he’s on about, any reviews saying that he was rude were probably wrong themselves, I thought I needed a size up from my normal size but he was firmly insistent and he knew my size just by looking at my feet, before even measuring them. My Birkenstocks feel very orthopaedic and supportive.

I've purchased maybe 5 pairs of birks here for myself and my family. The gentleman that works here, I'm sorry I don't know his name, is fairly quiet, but knowledgeable, he's able to look at my feet and tell me if the shoes I'm looking at will work for me. He's suggested other pairs for me, and he was right. I've owned my birks for so long now, they're ready to be re soled and I'll be taking them back here.

I've purchased maybe 2-3 pairs of birkenstocks here and have recommended to family & friends. The owner is friendly and knowledgable! I don't get some of the bad reviews but personally, I've always felt comfortable coming here.

My go-to place for comfortable shoes at a reasonable price. I come here at least once a year and have never been dissatisfied by the service. Always a pleasant shopping experience.

I was shopping around for a birkenstock store after a lot of internet searching, I wanted to wear/feel it for real. After stopping at a few birkenstock stores where no one paid attention to me, or knew what they were talking about, I went to this store. This shop is nice and John took the time to show me what I had already looked up, and even recommended a different shoes that worked great and was on sale at a lower price. I even brought in my old birk to get an estimate of repair. It was a great experience.

A shoe store with an actual cobbler? So nice! John is great - helpful, friendly, and cares that you find the right fit. Store is kept very clean.
