Amazing (and sort of hidden) Tiki bar in Tustin!

Drinks were great and the atmosphere was everything you could expect from a tiki bar. Shoutout to the bartenders and servers who were very courteous and accommodating. Also, the specialty cocktails have some really cool cups!

I was here at the new location for the second time. Managed to get a parking spot.(!) walked in just after brunch on a Saturday with no reservation. We got a spot at the bar. I had two Frog Grogs. So delicious! My date had a Zombie and an off menu Dr Funk. I had the pork sandwich with fries to eat and it was really yummy. Can’t wait to come back!

Very cool spot. Heard it was reopening but had not yet seen it. Glad my wife and I went! Atmosphere is off the charts, like being in another world far from the worries of reality. Drinks are imaginative and taste great. Food is solid and the prices are excellent. Every team member was friendly and welcoming. We walked in and stumbled upon Burlesque Brunch. Fantastic dancing, rad vibe. Check this place out for sure! Can't wait to go back. ❤🍹

Pro tip: come before 6pm and you get to sit at the bar without reservations! If you are a party of one or two you don’t need a reservation before 6pm. PLUS! Happy hour for $6 drinks and $6 appetizers are amazing here it’s until 6pm. Be sure to checkout the cave in the back. Always a good time here. Must get the coconut shrimp!

Great experience during brunch at 12:30pm on a Sunday. Waitress was attentive and quick to service us. It was not very busy. Stowaway fries were delicious and all other dishes we got were great they also had a magician who went around to each table and perform a couple tricks. He was very entertaining

Update Nov 2023: Returned for another great evening of food and drinks. Food is super casual and delicious (don't let the paper plates and wooden utensils fool you) and drinks and wait staff were still fantastic as well .

I usually don't give 5 stars out but I will say this place exceeded my expectations. Big tiki fan here and this place was legit. Fantastic ambiance whether you're in a private booth or the "cave of skulls"(where we sat). The drink menu is extensive with both classics and their own concoctions and everything we had was delicious, and the food bites were simple and also very good. And best of all everything was very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back with friends.

If you’re looking for a great tiki bar with great drinks, check out stowaway! I had their dole whip with mango and it was so good! Highly recommend reservations ! Their pork gravy fries were bomb too.

Very cool tiki bar. Chill space and bill was not too crazy which is a very good compliment in california. Cool french fries and spam misubis

Great atmosphere, great vibes. Service was excellent and the drinks tasted great. My only complaint is the random guy next to me kept asking me if I had any "zaza"? And my drink tasted a little funny after I came back from the bathroom, after that I don't remember anything. But the first half of the night was excellent.

Don't let the outside fool you. This is a cool spot with a great tiki vibe. Loco Moco was good, drinks were good and service was very friendly. Great prices too!

Great tiki bar! Offers crafted Polynesian inspired libations paired with tasty bites.

Cozy place for a bar. Very good food. Be sure to place yourself on their waiting to be seated list or you may not get in for a while. You can always stand by for patio seating.

They’ve moved to a new location in Tustin. Bigger space, same cool crew.

A beautiful reimagination of the original, this Stowaway has been amazing since they opened. Happy to still be a part of this family!

2024 Update: Still perfect!

Me and my fiancee often visited Stowaways when it was in The District and loved it. Their new location is so much bigger! They have a bar section with booths around the outside of the room for more intimate dining as well as a large party section which is themed out and very cool. The drinks are still strong and delicious and the snack foods are still amazing. We shared a fried spam masubi and it was crunchy and a little sweet and a little spicy. Nancy is one of the managers and she is also amazing! We love seeing her every time we come in!

Such a cool hidden gem in Tustin! From the decor to the menu to the staff, everything about Stowaway is a home run! It’s everything you could ever want from a tiki bar. You have to come In and check it out. I recommend the Singapore Sling and coconut shrimp. And maybe a fernet. Cheers!

Such a fun bar. Their new space is huge compared to their older spot. Drinks are great. The owners are hands on so you know everything is top-notch. The also have a good selection of Tiki Mugs for purchase if that's your thing. Can't wait to go back!

What an incredible hidden gem! I have been to this location for years when it was a karaoke, DJ and live music venue, but this tops them all! It’s excellent! Creative little details in the decor, a fun and attentive staff, and delicious food and cocktails. NOTE: there will be a long wait during busy nights but it is worth it! Visit STOWAWAY and leave all your cares behind!

Great experience. Another fun tiki bar, we would totally recommend. We love the piranha tiki mug. The only issued we had was parking so just plan ahead. You may have to park down the street at the market. The staff was very nice and attentive and the food came out fast.

I didn't realize that this was the same place that I loved going to when it was at the District. Wow, this location is way nicer and bigger and definitely my kind of vibe. There were so many drink choices here and I want to go back. My friend goes here all the time and brought tiki cups for both of us which you can use to have them put your drink in. There was also a drink he got which lit on fire so that was fun to see and to take pictures of. I would definitely come back, I love tiki drinks!
