Soarin' Over California

This was almost my favorite ride here. What an amazing experience. Its basically a ride and iMAX out together. While your flying they actually pump in scents as well so you smell the pine in the pine trees, the ocean and you smell oranges flying over the orchards!

Soarin’ Was Amazing We Got To Experience The World We Got A Row To Our Self The Line Was Long We Decided Fast Pass Was A Good Choice The Soarin Staff Was Very Funny While Waiting I Was Reading The Info About Pilots During The 30s Or The 20s We Boarded And The Seating Was The Best We Were Seated In The Front And Second Row We Were In The Right The Flight Was Great!

Really cool ride, one of the better ones at disny adventure. I liked it.

I like Soarin over California more than Soarin' Over the World but both top rides in the park. The line usually is pretty long but its always moving so it never feels as bad as it is. The scents that they push through like the oranges or the smell of pine trees make the experience that much better. Highly recommend

Great ride through spaces of planet Earth. Located in Disney California, thus ride will have you smelling the roses and soaring through a multitude of environments. A really neat ride for the family to discuss after the thrill. Hearing the thrusts of "ooooo's" and "ahhhhh's", keeps you smiling through the whole adventure.

Love this ride makes you feel like youre in a actual airplane traveling around the world. You even smell the dirt the roses the ocean water... etc kid friendly my son loves this ride

While I was hoping I'd get to ride Soaring over California it turned out to be Soaring Around the World instead. This is the exact same ride over in the Land pavillion at EPCOT center. Since I enjoyed it there I knew that I would love it here.

Patrick Warburton AKA "Puddy" from the Seinfeld series gives you a briefing before you enter the ride. After taking a numbered place you walk into your assigned row to have a seat and put fasten your seat belt. Small items can be stored in the pocket near the bottom of your seat. A cast member directs you where you can safely put larger items on the floor so that you don't loose them.

As soon as the ride starts a roof swings down over the entire unit to give you the sensation of hang gliding. The entire unit is lifted so you can watch an Omni max video featuring not only the 7 wonders of the world but also the great icons, frozen waters with breaching whales, the great pyramids of Egypt, the great wall of China, Sydney harbor, the South Pacific, Disneyland, and a lot more!

They angle the film so at times you feel like you are "touching" water-don't worry they don't splash any on you. You can feel the coldness as you soar over icy regions. All in all the ride is gentle and more relaxing.

Ideally it is best to be in the first row so that you won't see hanging feet from above but nevertheless the ride is just as enjoyable. To cut time, I'd recommend using Lightning Lane.

Such a wonderful experience. I really liked the "tour" of the world and how immersive it is. I also noticed when we fly over sand we got to smell it in real life too.

Favorite all time ride! Visual, aural, nasal and touch experience of flying. Not to mention you feel like actually accelerating up and down. A must ride everytime in Disney Cali.

This particular ride is the most awesome ride I have ever been on I love how it takes you up through the sky and it's taking you through different countries and you smell the ocean you smell the flowers it's amazing it makes you feel like you're actually flying over

It gives me the sights and sounds of California and it has scent smell of oranges, nature, and oceans.

This ride is just spectacular is it just feels like you're actually flying over these amazing landscapes all over the world and then it just brings you back down to Disneyland when the fireworks are going off and it's just a magical experience.

Always a fun ride. It was updated sometime back to include locations around the world, not just in California. As with virtually everything Disney does, it is well designed and executed.

I liked this Soarin' Over the World better than the one they have in WDW Orlando FL. The ride in Florida Walt Disney World EPCOT was just Soarin' Over California.

This ride is super fun! Really let's you see the world too!!! Safe and calm.

Beautiful tour of the world made even better with the addition of the smell of each location. It's the future of IMAX/VR.

Always enjoy this ride. Couldn't tell you how many times I've been on this ride.

This is my favorite ride at California adventure but I won't be going back. The price is too much for what little you get and the genie thing is a joke.
