So first of all I’d like to apologize for taking so long to write a review( I like to take in the full experience after buying). I bought my car here back in November with help from Allison who was great! The process was fairly quick and easy she got me approved on a good deal that met my budgeting. The car itself is a beauty, runs perfectly and has had 0 issues whatsoever since purchasing. The owner Taylor was super helpful as well and you can contact him and deal with him directly if there’s any issues. No pushy sell tactics going on here. No funny business. I can’t recommend them enough, if you’re in need of a reliable vehicle please give them the chance!

Several months ago I bought a Hyundai Elantra and so far did not have any big problems.
The application process was fast and easy.
The dealership has a wide selection of cars for all range of prices. Every single one of them is well maintained and cleaned.
The staff is polite and can answer all the questions very well.

I highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for a good car!

Miguel Peña was our salesman. From the get go, there was no pressure, no million questions. He saw us looking at a car, gave us the keys for a test drive, and said if you like it, buy it, if you don’t like it, we can try another car or just leave, no hard feelings. Made him what we thought was a fair offer, he accepted without the usual haggling back and forth. Typed up the purchase order so we could go to the bank. When we got back, all the other paperwork was done, and the car was washed. The whole process was less than two hours, from first stopping on the lot to driving away. I would highly recommend this dealer, they are the opposite of every place I’ve been to, which means excellent. I’ve got two more kids turning driving age in the next couple of years, and this place has my business for sure.

My husband and I were looking for a car for a while from a dealership with a few criteria: honest, genuine and trustworthy. We called and went to a few places around the Orange area, extending even to Long Beach. Even when we were close to buying a car at another dealership, something seemed off. DriveSmart Motors, I think, does things differently where they put the customer first. Also, they treat the cars that they sell like if they were going to buy it in the first place. DriveSmart Motors and their sales rep, Allison, really fit the criteria we were looking for. She really helped us feel comfortable and cared for as we took our time evaluating three different cars. We landed on a Toyota Camry and we are so happy with it!! The car looked really well taken care of and when we took it to our mechanic, there was only one major thing wrong with it (the radiator needed to be changed). Otherwise, it just needed your average fixings like any older used car (i.e. air filter changed, oil change, and eventual tire change). We have had it for a week now and we cannot be happier. Allison, thank you so much for selling us our first car together! You made the process and paperwork so smooth and were so patient answering all of our questions. We have assurance and a peace of mind that you will be there for us in the future (as you said) and we have a car that we can rely on for the years to come.

As far as used car dealers go, this is a good group. I was treated fairly throughout the process. The ownership showed integrity and stood behind the deal when there was a problem.

In the end, the vehicle didn't work out for me but I would feel comfortable working with Taylor and his team again.

Brian provided first class customer service. He was very personable and kind. He made sure to make us feel appreciated as customers. He even stayed a little later to make sure we left the lot with the car we wanted. Thanks again!

Taylor and Allison helped me buy a 2012 Altima and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. The team at DriveSmart offered top notch customer service from the moment I called the business asking to check out a car I’d seen posted on CARFAX. Immediately when I arrived, Allison was welcoming and prepared to help me not only with the car I’d found on CARFAX but with multiple options within my price range. When I’d expressed some hesitancy with purchasing a car, due to some minor cosmetic defects, DriveSmart offered to compensate me for the cost of the repair. As this was my first time as a car owner, Allison also went above and beyond to assist me in the financing process and secured me an excellent loan rate. On top of all that, DriveSmart bought my 2008 Sentra I was looking to get rid of. Again this process was effortless.
If you’re looking to buy a used car in the OC area I can’t think of another independent dealer I’d trust and recommend over DriveSmart.

I contacted DriveSmart because I was shopping for a car, but I had bad credit. I read that they helped some buyers with bad credit, before.

I thought I would not qualify because of my credit, but Miguel helped me get the car I wanted.

This was one of the best buying experiences I've had in a long time. Allison was the best no pressure salesperson I've ever encountered yet was helpful and well informed about all the inventory. The vehicle inventory was also great and of good quality. Not the sad looking collection found on most small dealerships! Definitely recommend you give them a try if you're looking for a good used car.

I bought my very first car this past weekend, and Allison from Drivesmart could not have made the process easier. She had all the paperwork ready to be signed in 20 min with no haggling or hidden fees. She also referred me to an insurance agent that gave me a great deal on my own policy. Best car buying experience yet! We called in about a 2013 Hyundai Tucson and quickly had all of our questions answered honestly (other places gave us the run around, but not here!). We hung up and drove over. Allison was the kindest, most easy-going, zero-pressure salesperson we've ever interacted with!

Price seemed fair (sticker price, but including tax, title, and license).

We've had the car for 6 months and it drives great. No issues. The dealership owner and staff seem genuinely trustworthy and honest. Next time we need a car, we'll definitely check here. I can't recommend this place enough!

His customer service was amazing! I highly recommend him to all my friends and family! He went over the paperwork explaining everything. He answered all my questions. Great communication and super easy getting approved with no credit history since i just started working, insurance and everything was walked through with me clearly and the car is absolutely awesome. I'm glad for finding high quality people that run a high quality business.

I cannot say enough about this dealership and the owner, Taylor. I purchased a vehicle from DriveSmart and unfortunately ran into an issue shortly after. Without hesitation, Taylor made the situation ‘right’ and went way above and beyond to help me out. It’s hard to find businesses that care about treating people ethically, but this one definitely does that! I would buy a vehicle from here again and again.

When I say I was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy!! Allison is truly an amazing person all Around! She took her time with me, looking for a vehicle that would be in the best interest of myself and my budget.
