After the first day we met Jimmy my 9 year old was hooked. He has been getting his cut and design with Jimmy for the last 5 months. He is amazing at everything he does. His designs are awesome. My son also loves chatting with Jimmy.

I recently visited Headzup Barbershop after our regular barber was temporarily unavailable. My son had recommended we try it, specifically suggesting Yaz as a skilled barber. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and promptly assisted. After a brief wait of about six to seven minutes, Yaz was ready for us.

The cleanliness of the establishment immediately stood out, aligning with the numerous positive reviews I had seen. The interior boasts spacious mirrors and excellent lighting, enhancing the customer experience. Yaz impressed us with his expertise, delivering outstanding haircuts for both myself and my son. We appreciated the quality service and plan to return, while also continuing to visit our regular barber.

Likely the best barber experience I've ever had. I had my hair and beard cut done by EB and I was impressed by his excruciating attention to detail. I travel a lot and tend to go to a different barber every few weeks. Because I do some basic research before choosing each shop, I tend to be 5-star satisfied with whatever cut I get (with the exception of one place. Ugh.) But I can usually find one or two very minor faults with each cut.

But with EB at Headzup, my experience was flawless. Even if EB were to degrade his service and attention by 20%, my experience still would have been worthy of 5 stars.

It is unfortunate that I do not live in SoCal anymore. However, I will be sure to return to Headzup whenever I am in town.

I’ve been to many barbershops in my lifetime. Headzup is definitely in a league of their own, no cap. The staff is friendly and maintain a clean professional environment. My barber, Yaz, stuck out to me most when I first arrived. He greeted me as if we had already known one another for years. His style and techniques made me confident that he knew what he was doing. I have locs and he fades my sides and carefully makes sure he doesn’t snag one of my locs. He’s super patient and kind. He also makes sure you’re comfortable and recognizes days when I just want to sit and enjoy the haircut without any convo. Don’t get me wrong we do have convo, but there are days where I’m super tired and he recognizes and respects those days. Yaz is the barber to go to. I’m a rapper and I had my photographer capture this moment of Yaz and myself. Go see Yaz at Headzup.

Found this barbershop when I needed a new one where I felt welcomed and let me tell you, I’m never looking back. Jimmy does an amazing job ever single time with my undercut. He truly never misses, his designs always hit and his attention to detail is on point.
