Food was excellent. I really prefer this place for a sit down restaurant.
Service was a bit of slow but then quick quick quick. Hope they get it together a bit but I won’t ding them on it because it wasn’t a big wait.
Atmosphere is very nice and sitting outdoors is fun. Heaters available.
Plenty of parking.

Met here this morning with a car club. We had a great meal and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity!
Food was delicious and served by the great team of wait staff that took care of our tables with the utmost professionalism.
The building itself was quite interesting, used to be a meeting hall many years ago, church type architecture and interesting balcony, brick arch design.
Will be happy to return in the future 👍

Had a fun time here tonight catching up with a few friends! The space is HUGE! They have a lot of indoor and outdoor space for people to sit at. Definitely good for groups. The food was good and I liked their chimichangas

Absolutely delightful historical buildings. We have seen this restaurant for many years and finally stepped away from our regular haunts to give it a try, and we're so glad we did.
The service was great, and the housemade chips and salsa were delicious. We had ice tea to drink, and our server was quick to refill our glasses and even brought fresh ice without being asked.
My husband enjoyed a combo plate with a chili relleno, a cheese enchilada, and a pork tamale. He hasn't stopped talking about how wonderful his enchilada was, so full of cheese 😊
I started with a bowl of Chicken Tortilla Soup. It was flavorful and so delicious. For my entre I had the carne asada burrito with red sauce. Our server first brought out a burrito with green sauce, but without bringing it to his attention, he quickly realized his error and exchanged the burrito for me.
The burrito was wonderful. It was stuffed full of tender bite-sized cuts of carne asada with a delicious cilantro and onion mix, then topped with a delicious sauce and cheese.
We look forward to returning with family and friends to try more yummy looking menu items!
(I saw a great looking plate of tacos mounded with cheese and a large tortilla bowl filled with salad and cheese!)

Best environment, we had a large party for my daughters 17th birthday, and employees were great, attentive, food came out accurately, customer service was wonderful! Food was yummy, from the beans, carnitas, enchiladas, tacos and salad 🤤

It is a rather unique restaurant. Great good in a sprawling indoor/outdoor setting. I took my wife there for her birthday. Reasonable price and attentive service. We discovered their neat bakery tucked on the side and bought some great mexican pastries to take home.

My family has been coming here since the restaurant first opened in the 1970's. Actually I used to sneak out from the High School for tacos when they just had the tacos shop across from El Modena. We meet here for dinner and have special occasions here. The Moreno family and the staff are always friendly and the tacos and beans are my favorite.

Moreno’s never disappoints. We had a work lunch here and everyone left full :). I had their cheese enchilada and Chile Relleno plate. The Chile Relleno was delicious and super fresh. Will have to return for happy hour.

Moreno's has great ambiance outside (I have not dined inside yet because we enjoy being outside, beautiful astetics. Especially at sunset or evening, the lighting and natural greenery really sets good vibes & ambiance.
The food is pretty good and service is always with a smile. You get to know & recognize the servers.

My favorite soup, albondiga soup.
I visited this restaurant again and yes, I had albondigas soup again, it's was so delicious it reminded me of my aunts when they use to make it. I always had a big bowl. Yum

Beautiful building. Hugely popular. Taco Tuesday the small bar in the restaurant is closed to take "To Go" orders. The food is awesome, bring your own habaneros

Came here with my girlfriends, we had a ball. The food was delicious and Mango Margarita - a must drink and worth every penny. Our server was attentive, kept checking on us. We tipped him well!

Stopped on our way back home to Arizona. Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. Would definitely come back the next time we are in the area.

Usually the place is crowded but this time there was parking and we got seated right away. Stayed for 3 hours, had great food and great service, and enjoyed each other's company.

Taco Tuesday is great here... the tacos are very generous and only $2!! The have a variety of meats... I tried a potato and a shredded beef taco... the potato was the better of the two in my opinion!

My friends and I have been meeting here for lunch and dinner for years now! It's one of our "sure bets" since we know the food is always going to be delicious! Large patio seating, until the pandemic eases enough for a return to indoor dining, allow for a slightly longer wait for seating. But it's worth it!

I love this please. The food is really good and the outdoor patio is relaxing. $2 tacos on Tuesday!
