Haven’t been here in awhile and wow! New ownership is fantastic! Making huge improvements and bringing in higher quality. They are very friendly and helpful. Stoked to see another new chapter in this Huntington Beach staple. Been eating here for 30+ years and this place just got way better.

I had a couple of coupons to use & wanted to go check the place out. What a spread! This menu offers such a huge variety of unique tastes with fun names. You can personalize your sandwiches. Take home prepared, handmade meals to your family, to cook in your oven. Owned & operated by a father & son team who have friendly & greeting personalities. We'll definitely be back. I wish I would have done this there so I could remember the name of the sandwich BUT my sandwich was roast beef, cream cheese, pimento & lettuce. AMAZING combination. It also smelled amazing & was so clean! If you're an HB local or in the area go check this place out, for sure! Next time I'm going to try a hot sandwich! Oh and the macaroni salad was great too & the prices are super reasonable as well.

My husband's introduced me to this place when I first started dating him in 1990. The place had been through some changes. I haven't been in a very long time and love how they've updated it. It's brighter, clean and the sandwiches are still amazing! They offer some Italian dishes In a refrigerated section to take and make at home. They also have a collection of wines where the proceeds go directly to veteran's charities. Looking forward to another visit soon!

This is a great deli and has a history, the sandwiches are great, but I can't get past the pastrami sandwiches, which are excellent.

New to area, looking for fresh deli food. I FOUND IT. The vodka sauce is unbelievable.

Their new pastrami sandwhich is absolutely delicious!! Definitely unlike others I have had. This one is bomb!!!!

This place was good before, but under new ownership it’s much better! We love the new owners, and Jennifer is absolutely the best! They have left the good old sandwich menu, but upped the quality of the ingredients. Also we appreciate the excellent quality Italian products they make themselves. Not an overwhelming selection, but very good. The award winning wines are also from their own winery, and all profits from wine sales are donated to veterans charities! It’s the oldest deli in HB, and we absolutely love how DeFalco family operates it. Thank you!

What a fantastic deli! Not only do they make tasty sandwiches, the new owners are very friendly, accommodating, and super nice. If you don't see a sandwich on the menu that you want, they will make a custom one just for you. Who knows, it may even end up on the menu! The quality of the bread, meats, and veggies are top notch. Good thing I live around the corner, because there are too many sandwiches on the menu that I still need to try!

I just ordered here for the first time and wow I’m impressed. Definitely a place you got to try if you want authentic tasting subs. Delicious! Good portion size and was not soggy at all and it was a very good price for the size of the sub. Also a very friendly atmosphere and very clean. The lady at the counter was very nice and helped me understand the menu a little better and helped me with directions of how to cook the frozen dinner I decided to take home I can’t wait to try it!! Thanks!!

The BEST fresh deli sandwiches this side of the Mississippi! They have a great assortment of different deli meats and sandwich options - paired with the wide variety of fresh produce, the custom made options are endless. The cherry on top is their homemade breads (highly recommend the house roll). If you’re in the Huntington Beach area, it’s a must try!!!

First timer. Nice to have a great sandwich shop near the Meadowlark golf course. Sandwiches names after celebrities - wacky fun just reading the menu. Had the Barbra Streisand - half pastrami half corned beef. Perfect balance on a lightly toasted rye bread - very excellent. Service excellent. Guy at next table (almost) devoured his meatball and sausage sammy - it was HUGE. Great neighborhood joint. Supports veterans charities.

We heard that the Fritzankotters has been improved, so we decided to try it again. We are very happy that we did. We have put them back in our dining rotation. We're especially happy with the new deserts. If you are looking for a great sandwich shop in our area of Huntington Beach, with reasonable prices, this is it.

OMG! You have to go to Fritzankotters in Huntington Beach! Not only are their sandwiches delicious, they also offer their very own home-made from family recipes, Take Home Heat and Eat meals. My wife Brandi brought home the Meatballs in Sauce, Sausages in Sauce with Peppers and Onions, Meat Sauce, and Fresh Spinach Fettuccine. They offer other selections of dry pastas, sauces, pizza dough, and their Award-Winning Wine collection. Their staff are very nice and welcoming. Don't miss out, try for yourself.

New to the area, they had good reviews and the reviews were right! I had the roast beef Churchill! SO GOOD! Must try! The owner, I think he’s the owner was The kindest has great hospitality.
