I recently had the pleasure of taking my vehicle to fix and smog auto service, and I can’t emphasize enough how impressed I am with their exceptional service and automotive expertise. From start to finish, they went above, and beyond to ensure my car was handled with the upmost care and professionalism, communication was top-notch throughout the entire process. Alex Maira was transparent explaining every step of the repairs needed and providing a comprehensive breakdown of the cost. I would most definitely return there for all the mechanical needs.

Good service and quick one day turn around on my brakes. Make sure you call ahead to see if they can accommodate you, and they will do their best to get your car taken care of.

I was looking for a place to get my oil pan changed. Then I stumbled across Fin N Smog and I talked to Alex. Alex was friendly and gave really good customer service. He told me he could get the job done. I was impressed with how fast it was fixed and the affordable price. I totally recommended going to Fix n Smog if you need to get your car repaired.

I bought a used car and have the habit of performing any neglected/ necessary service to ensure the safety and reliability of the car. I searched for a place to get a transmission flush, install new shocks and get an alignment and Fix N Smog came out in the local google search. Contacted the shop on a moments notice and Alex said to bring the car over. Its an European car and I was hesitant to bring it to a regular shop but my concern was quickly put to ease. Alex quickly went over the car and after talking to him I knew he was knowledgeable about the subject and the scope of the job and the vehicle specifics. He gave me a great estimate and I was so happy I also got the head gasket fixed ( I knew it was leaking). I left the shop and before the end of the day the job was done. The Car not only feels great, but also handles better. Alex shop handle my request on a timely manner, did an excellent job and at a fair price. I am so happy with the service that I brought my wife's car when the AC went out without even thinking twice about this garage and again Alex did fix everything wrong with the AC on time and on budget. Kudos to the Alex team and thank you for keeping my cars on the road...

I grew up with a father who did all his own auto care. Forced us to learn but I hated it. But at least I know when a mechanic is being honest or trying to up charge you. Alex is always fair and honest. That’s so important. A mechanic you can trust.

Excellent customer service. Very friendly owner "Alex Mayar",First time here but definitely not last 👍🙂 the price they gave me on the phone didn't change when I walked in.. was helping few other customers with patience & a smile. Smog & oil change was done in a record time!! Fast & perfect. I'll be back for any mechanical issues, as they have a full mechanic shop & will get me discount even on tires. I'm not related to owner!! But it's one stop shop!!

I bring my vehicles here for service and have for a long time. My entire family and many friends now do as well. Alex is honest (won’t up charge or add services not needed). He has always been friendly and it’s easy to see he cares about his customers. We bring over 10 vehicles here just in our family alone. Never had an issue and 7 of them have over 100k miles thanks to him. Thank you Alex!!

I love this shop. Alex is the best. I have been going to this shop for not only smog testing but also my repairs. If something is wrong with your car and you want a straight to the point no nonsense answer this is the place to go.

My family and I have been taking our cars to Fix N Smog for many, many years. Alex has provided the best service and prices we have ever received. We have 3 cars, and a lot of family and friends that have also made Fix n Smog their own autobody repair shop. Alex was referred to us by another shop that couldn't do the very involved work our car needed. We had a great relationship with this shop, and he told us we could completely trust Alex. He was right, and since then we have had EVERYTHING done here. I would never refer my family and friends to a mechanic that I wasn't 100% sure of. I have only received wonderful comments from everyone we have sent there. Alex has gone way beyond the call of duty, and we are forever grateful:)

They were helpful and took me in right away. they gave me a fair price (actually a very good price) They were honest. They made suggestions but did not push unnecessary items. They were friendly and professional. I will use them again for my other cars!!

Ali your remarkable. Best price and fast service. I knew of a problem that I've been holding off getting fixed. My tire place had missed it twice on their inspection. Ali found it, reminded me of it so I went ahead and got it done along with my brakes. So happy I found these guys. Alex Ali and Al. you guys are the best.

They also have a really low price on the smog.

Thanks Nick for catching that problem with the valve cover. I had an idea of something was going on as I was burning just a little bit of oil but forgot to mention it and you caught it. Nothing fancy just good people who seem to know what they're doing at a reasonable price.
I've taken two vehicles there for over a year after getting quotes at other places and I saved over $1,000. They've even turned down work saying it wasn't needed after mechanics at OTHER shops recommended that the work be done.
Don't go there for a great atmosphere just go there if you want your vehicle fixed at a reasonable price in a reasonable amount of time.

New to California from Chicago and after the long drive needed to do a lot of work on my car ranging from changing a headlight, to getting new brakes, and even an oil change. I drive a GLK so I'm picky about who i let work on my car, but after talking to Alex I felt pretty comfortable giving him and his workshop a shot. Been a week since I left with the repairs done and everything he worked on is functioning better than before and definitely feel happy with my decision to trust these guys, and will be trusting them with my repairs in the future. I have issue with trusting mechanics now a days due to high payouts plus labor and all the bills for car issues,BUT this is the first time I went and try this "FIX AND SMOG"auto repair in Tustin Orange..and Man!at first I was hesitant because I fear to pay thousands and thousands of dollars but man!! My car's check engine light was on and it needed to get smogged for registration. When I called the office, Alex asked me to just bring it over. He diagnosed the problem and gave me a very fair estimate of the repair costs and fixed and smogged it within a few hours. Excellent service, courteous and professional team. Highly recommend this place!
