A great experience with Family Affair Moving! The ladies I spoke with on the phone were super friendly and efficient with setting up the service appointment. Ryan and Gene were awesome movers who helped us pack everything up in our apartment, made a stop to drop off some items, then unpack everything at our final destination. We also needed a large, heavy bed frame disassembled and stored in the garage at the final location, which they handled amazingly as well. They were very professional and handled things like elevators, the drop-off stop, and stairs in a three-story townhome so well. I was nervous looking for a moving company as I had heard some damage is inevitable but they did a great job packing everything, and nothing was damaged! Their price was very fair compared to their competitors. I would definitely use this company again!

We absolutely would recommend Family Affair for all of your moving needs. We spoke with Darlene first who is so helpful and has assisted us in the past. I feel that she is the glue that keeps it all together and has everything running smoothly. We’ve used this company before and know the quality of service they provide and the reason why we are returning customers. We want to thank the 2 gentlemen who did such a great job in moving us~ Jesus & Aaron. They were prompt, hard working, courteous and everything was moved without a scratch. It was truly a pleasure to see 2 young men care about the job they do and the respect for others belongings. They are definitely a 10 Star company but they only let you give 5 stars. Such an awesome moving company, the crew under the leadership of Leo did such a phenomenal job moving us. They were on time, prompt, efficient, polite, very friendly and answered all of our questions. They were very careful with all of our items, expensive ones and inexpensive ones. I would definitely recommend Family Affair Moving. I was moving out of a 2 story home into a storage unit waiting on a move out of state for a new job. My team of guys (Brian, John, and Mike) were on time, so kind and helpful, quick, professional, and careful with all my things. They made me feel so taken care of and I barely had to lift a finger since they were so organized and experienced. I could not have asked for abetter experience and am so thankful my move went smoothly. Darlene and Rosie in the office were also so kind and helpful and helped put me at ease booking them and checking in before moving day.

Leo and his partner were excellent and professional. I appreciated that they used runners to protect the floor. My stuff arrived undamaged.

There is a 3 hour minimum for the movers. I found that moving 1.5 bedrooms of stuff required all 3 hours, so don't worry about the minimum.

Office staff were great too - I'll gladly use Family Affair again.

Family Affair Moving was great! From the initial call to get quote and set appointment, to the crew on moving day. Everyone was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The guys took great care of our things during the move. I can't say enough good things about the whole experience and would most definitely use them again! Highly recommend

Wow!! I just wanted to share that we just completed a move with Family Affair Moving and I cannot recommend them enough. The crew we had: Desmond, Joe, Abi, Manny and Mike were outstanding. It was like watching ballet-so efficient, so careful and what nice people too. Our move was complicated and they took everything in stride. My only regret is that I might not have tipped them enough! I have done cross-country moves with big movers and small moves with locals, this was the best move I have ever had.

Jesus and Mario did an excellent job. They moved my old, very large/heavy furniture pieces from upstairs to downstairs and then moved the new furniture from downstairs to upstairs. Not a scratch anywhere on the furniture, stairs, or walls. It was raining and everything was meticulously wrapped to protect from the rain. I never thought I'd be writing a review of my moving experience, but these guys were great.

We used Family Affair Moving to help us with our move from LA to Long Beach and had a very good experience! Our crew Desmond, Abi, Manny, and Amir arrived on time and worked super hard all day. They took good care of our furniture and were really careful not to scratch walls, flooring, or door frames. Price was also very reasonable. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to move.

I had a great experience with Family Affair Moving. Desmond, Aaron, and Oskar were friendly, efficient, and appreciative. They were appreciative of how well I prepared for the move, and I was appreciative of how efficiently they worked. I wanted to move as quickly as possible to keep the cost down and they made that happen. We made a good team. I would us them again and recommend to others.

These movers did an AWESOME job. We were moving from one storage unit to another, all that was in it was boxes. There was also an intermediate stop at home to grab some more boxes. Leo, the lead mover/truck driver and Alfredo, the helper mover were extremely fast and efficient. I've had movers before, but these guys were built for the job. They would take at least 15 boxes on one elevator trip to the truck. They would run like the Flash! They got the whole thing done in 3.5 hours. Some of the boxes were extremely heavy as they contained books, but it was no problem for them. Everything fit in the truck with quite some room to spare. All the boxes were secured to the back so that they don't move around on the drive. Leo and Alfredo were very delicate and careful with all the boxes. And very nice of course! Very personable and accommodating. I would definitely recommend, especially for last minute jobs!

I work in operations at a non-profit and found Family Affair Moving to help us pick up a truckload of donated office furniture in Riverside and deliver it to our new office in Santa Ana. The request was on short notice (within a week) and I wasn't sure if we would need a COI when I called. They were able to help us out, and communication was amazing. Darlene actually reached out to me to confirm about the COI before I managed to follow up with her. At the last moment, I received a pick-up receipt which I sent in very early on the morning of the move, and she was able to get it to the guys on the truck in time for the 8 AM pickup.

They did the pickup without me present and met me at the Santa Ana office. The movers were professional and pleasant, and took care with our items. Finally, they beat our regular movers, and several other quotes I received, handily on price. I would highly recommend Family Affair Moving.

I have moved twice with Family Affair Moving. Both moves were excellent experiences. They are professional and efficient and do excellent work. The price is much lower than with many other companies. For my most recent move, I thought Marvin and John did a great job of moving my things from a storage unit into my new home. The job was a little complicated because there were painters in my home during the move, but they handled the situation very well. I would definitely hire them again!

My wife and I moved into our first home and had to move all of our items from our apartment and garage into a two story home. Desmond, Andrew, and Ronnie at Family Affairs were AMAZING! Not to mention how pleasant it was working with Darlene to schedule our work!

Not only were they masters at their craft in how efficient and well they worked, they were extremely friendly, courteous, and a pleasure to be around.

Going up and down several flights of stairs and around tight corners, we were never worried that our items were at risk or that they were not being treated well.

Family Affair Moving absolutely delivered. I was assisted by Chris, Amir and Max to help move my office on a Sunday. They were timely, fast, efficient, and careful with all of my belongings. Their pricing was better than others I had called as well. I highly recommend them and would use their services again.

Used Family Affair earlier this month for a residential move and everything was super smooth. Everyone I talked to on the phone was nice & answered questions I had. The three guys that came (wish I could remember their names) were fast, super nice, and packed/moved carefully enough so that nothing was broken. Even asked if I wanted any furniture re-arranged before they left. Moved a ground level studio apartment to an upstairs apt in under four hours including doing a chunk of the packing for me. Wrapped up all my kitchen stuff very well. Would definitely go with them again. Helped make a really stressful process much more pleasant.

This was THE BEST moving experience!!! I can't say enough about the quality of the customer service I received from Darlene when I scheduled and confirmed my appointment. She explained everything in detail and was very responsive over the phone and through email. My two movers, George and Justin were OUTSTANDING. They called in advance to let me know when they would arrive, and they were very efficient and professional. They carefully wrapped my furniture and they organized everything in my storage space. It was a stress free experience and I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.
