White Sparrow Coffee

Wow! We stumbled upon White Sparrow and enjoyed a Shaken not Stirred iced latte. It was delicious and light. It was not too sweet at all and had the perfect amount of cinnamon and maple syrup instead of artificial sweetener. We appreciated how quick they were and the indoor and outdoor seating. Not too much room inside and I'm sure on weekend mornings it is packed! We would return.

Unique drinks, welcoming vibe. Great suggestions and great pastries.

Coffee beans: This place buy their coffee beans from “common room roaster” in Long Beach which is one of my favorite roaster! If you are true snobbish coffee drinker like me then you know what this mean—✌
They pull espresso from common room’s special blend beans. It is smooth and I was satisfied.

Food: They are speciality coffee shop so the food selection is limited but their bakery is pretty good. Their croissant was flaky but not dry and chewy (but not tough inside)—it was closest to what I had in Paris. Probably the best croissant you can get in coffee shop. Most Americans are used to soggy croissant from commercial coffee shop thinking flakiness is dryness. It’s not— trust me. Oh they had vegan muffins too.

Space: yes seating is limited but it’s clean and tucked in a cute Tustin antique district. Now I have a reason to go back there again.
They have plenty of parking on street and some free parking lot everywhere.

Smooth, rich coffee. Amazing. Try their mocha without sugar. It's to die for. Their cappuccino reminds me of the ones in Europe done right. We also had their matcha latte and regular cappuccino. Thick foam, creamy and strong. This is way beyond Starbucks and totally worth the wait. There was a cute flower shop outside with affordable flowers for less than $5. It's a small place with limited seating outside. Wished they could have had more seating to the lot next to them. That would have been phenomenal.

Fives across the board! We had never been here and even showed up right before closing. I'm used to places saying they're closing early and sending us away but they were so patient and kind to us. After telling them it was our first time there they were very accommodating with their best sellers and what they recommend, based on our normal coffee shop orders. I got a tea with peppermint and lavender and now question whether I can settle with Starbucks. It was delicious! The space is quaint and very clean. We will be back.

Lovely coffee spot in Tustin! Honestly, one of the best vanilla lattes I’ve had in awhile. They use real vanilla beans for their lattes and have a wide variety of house made syrups. I think my latte with oat milk was $6.50. Lots of different specialty drinks and classics. Great looking pastry case, though I didn’t try anything today. The service was quick and the baristas were friendly and helpful. Bags of beans and merch for sale as well. Not a ton of seating with only a few tables inside and outside, but still worth a visit! Will definitely be back!

Really good coffee. We got the gimme s’more and shaken not stirred - recommend both but I think the iced gimme s’more was better than the hot version. Barista’s were nice and there is usually a line but it goes quick enough. Limited seating outside and inside.

This is my favorite coffee shop! My husband and I (and our baby) come about once or twice a week for a good cup of coffee. I’ve tried a few of their specialty drinks. My favorite one is the “shaken not stirred “. You can’t go wrong with their vanilla latte either. Come by and have a good cup of coffee here. The owner is super friendly as well and his crew.

Best coffee in town!

The service is extremely friendly, quick and professional. You can also tell they enjoy what they do, which makes it that much better.

Their coffee is very flavorful and well balanced. I have not ordered anything I didn't like yet! My favorite is the "Love on the Weekend"

The vibe is overall super chill. They have inside as well as outside seating. Seating is limited, but it's such a beautiful walk in old town that that's the better option anyway tbh.

And another plus side is that they are Dog friendly!

White Sparrow is my favorite coffee shop in the OC. They always have such fun drinks, and they're always super tasty. They seem to be one of the only specialty coffee shops who understand that you need to put $6 worth of ingredients in your drinks if you're going to charge a higher price! Staff is always super nice, pastries are A+, and the small atmosphere is very nice. I wish them all the success!

Stopped in at White Sparrow this morning as I had seen they had recently opened. Met Alex and Doug and ordered one of their specialty lattes (it has cinnamon and honey). The guys were so nice, the shop is beautiful, and the coffee was delicious! Can't wait to stop by again.

Love this little coffee shop in downtown Tustin. The coffee here is very good. Loved their mocha and the staff here is really friendly. Love the attention to detail this place puts into their drinks. They also have really good matcha.

Great spot for coffee! Coffee is super smooth and not bitter like in chain coffee places. The friendly and very helpful staff behind the counter.

Great little coffee spot in a book store. Vibe is amazing. Flat white was great. I didn't love the mocha as much - but they have a couple other interesting drinks (e.g. maple) and the coffee itself is good. No pastries just now, but sounds like they are working on getting a new supplier.

A lovely and tiny minimalist coffee shop. They really take the time to explain their drinks and point you in the right direction if you haven’t been here before. Their drinks are clearly made with love, and the chai latte I got here must’ve been one of the best I’ve had. Also conveniently located close to the flea market!

WOWWWW!!! I absolutely loved their coffee. I was unsure of which one to order as it was my first time there and the barista was incredibly helpful and gave me several samples to try! Thank you for helping me start the day in the best way possible. Can’t wait to be back.

This place is smaller, but the quality of coffee is incredible. The barista we had was also very friendly, and did a great job and clearly knows how to make good espresso. If you’re in Old Town this is a great stop

Highly aesthetically pleasing coffee shop with some of the best coffee in Tustin! Nolan is a very skilled Barista as evidenced by the delightful specialty latte he made me called the “Love On The Weekend”.

Great coffee and great prices! I highly recommend you visit this coffee shop next time you’re in the area!

Found this shop on Instagram (@occoffeeculture) and it’s the perfect spot for coffee and book lovers. Tucked inside historic Arvida Books, this shop serves some delicious drinks using local beans from Common Room Roasters.

This place came highly recommended by my friend that knows I'm very particular about my coffee. I stopped by and decided to try their lavender matcha. I was very skeptical at first as I didn't know what to expect. Wow it was soo delish. I'm definitely coming back:)

I’ve tried almost 30 coffee spots throughout OC and this is easily my favorite. The craft coffees are creative, perfectly balanced, and consistently dank af.

Not to mention the staff is ALWAYS friendly and greets you with a smile. Truly a one of a kind experience here at White Sparrow - big kudos to the team!!
