This is a place I frequent. The area is great. Service is always attentive and genuinely friendly. Food is consistently cooked well.

Tip: Their burgers aren't dressed. Do request your condiments. Spicy mayo and jalapeno ranch are sure shots!

Their fries are ALWAYS crunchy and more on the well done side. Go ahead! Dip them in that jalapeno ranch!

Another tip: they no longer give their potato salad automatically. Ask and ye shall receive! (no charge) YOU'RE WELCOME. The potato salad makes me say, "good Lawd"!

This place is so good! We ordered a Wyatt Earp burger and subbed a black bean patty, BLT, and garlic cheese bites (cheese balls). Everything was good, even my kid's crinkle cut fries. Another reviewer said the ranch was good and they were absolutely spot on. My onion rings had the perfect crunch in my burger and the bacon was cooked to perfection. We ordered a bread pudding to go and looking forward to trying that. Our server, Jessica, was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

We stopped here for lunch on a beautiful day and it was a great time. We had some appetizers and burgers and everything was delicious. We tried a couple of beers and they were great too. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Hot recommended her favorite the Cajun chicken sandwich and the garlic fries and she was spot on! Food was delicious and the service was great!

Stopped at this place for some food and was pleasantly surprised. The lemon pepper wings and sweet potato fries were good. I enjoyed the atmosphere and liked that this place is close to a stop on the Metrolink.

They definitely are some healthy options but the burgers look also good that you can’t choose. We got a decent sample size of all of them and they did not disappoint, highly recommend the breakfast burger. The wings extra crispy were exactly how I like them, and definitely go for the rosemary herb fries and enjoy excellent service.

This little hole in the wall has always been fresh filling and fun. The beef is always cooked the way we ask and their portion is quite large. The service is great, they always make sure you have what you need while making very helpful suggestions. The alcohol is very affordable and we loved the anthem cider. My picky child loves the Mac and cheese and that is reason enough to go as it is. They are located in downtown Tustin so there are some great places to walk around after your meal.

American Grub offers so many burger choices you’ll need a minute just to pick one from the list. Also, sandwiches, sides, salads and a dessert selection — come hungry! Service was extra friendly and the atmosphere felt authentic without being kitschy. Very recommended.

This was our second visit to AG. It was as delicious as we remembered. We started with the bacon cheddar fries. They did not disappoint us. We then tried the Wyatt & classic burgers, along with a pastrami sandwich & and the protien dish. Our server, Jessica, was amazing with her knowledge & recommendations on the menu. She took excellent care of us. We sat outside on a beautiful afternoon and enjoyed the ambiance in the downtown area.

Had a great experience here! Our server, Abe, recommended the Nashville chicken sandwich with honey spicy sauce substituted. It was amazing! We also really enjoyed the Bloody Mary with soju. Love finding a place that dresses their Bloody Mary!

Found this place on Yelp and stopped on the way home from the beach. So glad we did. Awesome everything!

Landed here due to craving a burger good reviews...it was an unexpected bonus they had beer. The IPA, blue cheese burger and Cajun tatortots where just what the doctor ordered. Jessica the server was really kind and knowledgeable about the menu. The only thing lingering now is the last bit of the beer that I'm nursing 😉

Best burger joint in Tustin! Excellent service and a great location. I recommend the garlic fires over the tots. The tots were good but not great. The burger however was amazing and I'll be back soon. Cheers

Food is absolutely recommendable, tasty Burgers and Sandwiches, the wings are awesome. Also a quick service and a wonderful interior. Go there and have a nice meal!

The black bean vegetarian burger with a side of cajun fries really hit the spot. Very few places get this right. American Grub got it. We were pleased with the fast service and happy staff. Would recommend to anyone looking for comfort food not far from home.

I was in downtown Tustin and decided to have lunch here. Was a bit apprehensive due to the name and expected a menu like Chili's or Applebee's but it wasn't. They had quite a few items on the menu, salads,burgers, sandwiches, and a few speciality dishes and sides. Most of the items were a la carte.
I ordered the Guilty Burger, Cajun Tots, Fried Green Beans,Sweet Potato Fries, and AG Potato Salad (pictured). My partner ordered a chicken wrap, the fries were hers. Both fries and tots were served with Ranch dressing but the Green Beans were served with a jalapeno ranch which was awesome.
I ordered a beer, Pizza Port Brewing Red, very good but be aware the sizes are 14oz and 24oz sizes. This is in plain print on the menu so don't get upset that it's not a regular pint, you have been informed. The beer was great I did enjoy it but the food was even better.
The Cajun Tots were crunchy and flavorful, not over cooked. The fried green beans and jalapeno dipping sauce were perfectly paired. I'm not a fan of Sweet Potato Fries but they were tasty.
The burger was very tasty and filling. This one had a fried egg in it and most places that I have ordered one similar, the egg creates a big mess, but not here. It still had a nice liquid like yolk but the brioche bun soaked it up nicely. This made it more enjoyable to eat. The bacon was crispy and the pepper jack cheese and swiss gave it a very nice flavor. They provide you with a little cup of potato salad, which was different than what you'd expect. It was more like a loaded baked potato but cold, I know you might think ewe, but trust me if you like potato salad you'll really enjoy this.
I left the restaurant stuffed. Food was, in my opinion, very much worth the price. I wish I could ding this place on something but I can't. The service was great. This is how restaurants should treat customers. Our server was Abe and he did a wonderful job, I couldn't have asked for better treatment. He was prompt and attentive always available. All around great service from all the staff.
This place has indoor and outdoor seating. They welcome customers with pets, but you need to be seated outside if you bring your pet, once again this is written on a sign clearly visible on the door. All in all it was a great experience and I can't wait to try it again.

This place is one of my new favorite spots. Great, friendly service and never a long wait. The burgers are delicious and the tots are nice and crispy. The garlic tots may have a bit too much on them though. I mean I love garlic but it was too much. The mac and cheese is also amazing. My mouth is watering typing this out. Also the location is great. Love the setting in olde town Tustin.

Great place to sit outside and have lunch. We have been here a few times and it is always very good.

Excellent service. Above and beyond. Attentive. High food quality. Great burger options. Coffee was good too. Nice hometown Americana atmosphere.
