The Vets and staff Garden Grove Dog and Cat Hospital are top notch. They really love animals and it shows in the way they care for our family dogs. We drive from Mission Viejo to them for services for our dogs because they actually care for us as much as our dog. They were so friendly and nice to us when we had to part with one of our beloved pets. You can’t go wrong having your pet treatment here.

I've been coming to this location for assistance with my two dogs for years. The staff has always been helpful and courteous. The veterinarians here have always been very understanding of my pets needs and have given me several options that are within my budget. They really do care for your animal, and the work and effort they put in really shows. They do get fairly busy at this location, but the staff does give you a rough timeline of how long you'd have to wait before being seen. I highly recommend checking out Garden Grove Dog and Cat Hospital for any issues with your pets.

Wonderful. The doctor is kind and gentle with all animals and forms a open connection with each one. You can trust that he and the staff will do their very best for you and your pet. Solved a problem rather than just treating symptoms. I'm very grateful to have found thií vet.

We've been bringing our fur babies here since moving to Garden Grove, and we love it. They have walk ins available and they have reasonable prices.

Excellent service, my dog needed to be seen on Easter Sunday. We were greeted our first time by the reception agents - Lupe and others. No appointments are taken, first come first served. The staff take your dog to be weighed. Then you wait. Dr. Eskander was thorough and helpful. Will be back in 2 weeks for a booster shot.

While they still do a "first come, first served" style of business, do not let that deter you from going here. I have never had a bad thing to say about GGD&CH. My most recent visit was for my older dog having health issues and me bringing him in for an end-of-life procedure. He rebounded so quickly and I spoke w/Dr. Hess for a good 20 min about postponing. There was NO charge for the consultation, and he even gave my dog a bag full of treats to eat on the car ride home (he hadn't eaten for 2 days straight). They are so friendly and compassionate, that it's worth whatever price they charge, and then some.

We were referred to GGDCH for an emergency spay procedure due to our staffy contracting pyometra, an infection of her uterus which can quickly become fatal. The staff were very professional and the Vets were even more so! Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Newton were informative, so nice, and showed incredible empathy which was appreciated.
We showed up well before they were open on a Sunday and a queue quickly followed so get there early. You get the feeling you're in a churn and burn business from the first impression but during the intake and the time they spend with you and your dog along the way you start to understand that this is a well run vet, with a high volume clientele because they are capable professionals.
My dog stayed overnight and I received updates from them which was comforting.
The doctors gave us a call pre op and post op and never once rushed through the conversation, again friendly, professional, and empathy.
The amount of confidence we have for our beloved 7 year old dog getting the best care and treatment cannot be understated. The pricing was much lower than another hospital which quoted $11k! It was a low fraction of that. The staff was understanding all along the way.
I'm left with the reminder that if a business has a long line (like a taco stand) it's probably because it's the best. (Aside from the DMV!).

Took my lil guy Max for a yearly checkup. And the wait wasn’t long, it was clean, and everyone there was friendly. The vet was very helpful and gave great tip for Max territorial behavior.

I have a little poodle mix who is an ankle biter who does not realize he is a small dog. He has to be handled with care and everyone I encountered there were very understanding of his attitude. I highly recommend this animal hospital

They are ALWAYS busy. I think it's a testimony to how good they are--everyone wants to bring their pets here, so be ready to wait. The vets are professional and courteous. You can tell they love animals. What I especially like, is they don't "shame" me for one of my kitties being overweight. We are aware and are looking to correct it-there is no reason to place blame.
They take excellent care of every animal they treat. One of the vets even mentioned a past kitty we brought there, and I was surprised that he remembered her. Amazing.

Awesome place to have your animal been seen. They are very caring and work special with each animals needs. The whole staff is great.

The doctors are very knowledgeable and the prices are affordable. Its obvious the staff loves your pet as much as you do. I had many options for veterinary care for my pup and I gladly took her to Garden Grove Animal Hospital.

This is our go-to place for the care of our fur-babies. This has also been the place we go to when we have to say goodbye to them.
In April of 2016 we had to put our beloved River to sleep. Regretfully, we had to put our sweet Kitty to sleep on September 5th.
The amazing compassionate manner of the doctors and staff have always been great in these very difficult times. I was especially pleased with Dr. Sanchez as she thoroughly explained our options. They are a very busy clinic and yet she took the time to explain, empathize, and console us during this difficult time.
They also offered us the opportunity to purchase cremation services and paw prints of our pets.
We recommend them to everyone we know.

I had a wonderful experience when I walked in for a pet emergency on July 9, 2021. My puppy was having parvo symptoms and Dr. Mark showed an appropriate amount of concern, it made me feel comfortable. They administered a parvo test on my fur baby and when it came back negative, Dr. Mark gave me medicine to help with her vomiting and diarrhea. Then they tried to get a stool sample but my baby couldn’t pass anything in the time we were there. They sent me home with a baggy to collect her sample myself and I took it back the next day without any issues. They emailed with the results that my baby had roundworms, so I picked up some medicine for her. It was all very inexpensive and fast. Every employee was a delight to speak to and Dr. Mark’s doggie is just ADORABLE. The interior of the hospital is beautiful and the seating is very comfy.

They vets are usually really nice and insightful. The system they have in place for everything is very convenient and easy for the multiple times I have gone. I highly recommend. I'm very grateful for the care they have provided for my dog.

I was a walk in after going to my local vet who did nothing. Dr. Malo told it to me straight and gave me two paths! The follow up was great!

Took both my cats and dog to them, and they really know their stuff. As far as customer service and patience, not all of them have it. Other than that, it's good.

Brought my kitten in to get seen by the vet, she hasn’t been feeling well and had a URI, the vet gave her a shot and some antibiotics to treat her symptoms at home and within 24 hours she is feeling much better and can finally breath through her nose again.
