Newcastle Wine Shoppe

Can't say enough about the Newcastle Wine Shoppe and its owner Clay. The shop was recommended to me by a friend who imports wines because I was looking for a hard-to-find variety and he pointed me to Clay in Newcastle. This is a special place. We ended up joining their bi-monthly wine club and have such a great time when we visit. Tonight was no different. So many people stroll in because they too discovered this gem and have become "regulars". Clay recommended a couple of other bottles for us and we're so excited to pair them with upcoming dinners with friends. Truly a great place.

This is a beautiful wine shop with lovely and special wines in all price points.
The owner, Brandon, is extremely knowledgeable and happy to help you find something that will delight. Be sure and peek at the pretty outdoor courtyard. What a wonderful addition to downtown Brunswick!

Clay has a phenomenal selection of excellent wines. We recommend the tasting. A relaxed and fun experience with high quality wines.

Absolutely fabulous wine selection and ambiance. A hidden gem in the historic Newcastle Fruit Shed.

This is a tiny wine shop with a great selection of curated wines. I was quite impressed to find a Falanghina from Feudi, Penfolds, Charpoutier, etc. The restaurant next door waved corkage fee on the bottle I purchased here.

Cool spot next to a good restaurant, but the guy (Clay) working was very rude. We walked in and he didn't even look at us for at least 10 minutes. It took two patrons to hand us a menu and me asking if he can help us multiple times before he even looked up. Coming from the service industry, I understand being busy, but he wasn't busy at all. Hopefully the service changes or he calls out if he's having that bad of a day.
