Grizzly River Run

Great water ride for the whole family. YOU WILL GET WET..... It has a great drop and some pretty good turn and dips throughout giving you ample chances to get wet. A must do when it's a HOT summer California day. There are lockers outside you can rent to store your dry goods and clothes if needed.

Wow. By far the best ride in the entire Disneyland resort. I was visiting Disneyland with my school band and my group went on it 9 times. We got very wet but it was a blast trying to predict who would get the wettest every time. We went 5 times in a row at night starting at 8:30 as there was virtually no wait at that time. It never ever gets boring.

Fun to ride but you will defiantly get wet so, go to CVS and buy one of rain covers before riding!!

This ride is really fun but be prepared to get wet! Water could just pour in here and there.. lol

You’ll get really wet but it’s worth it. One of my favourites in California Adventure. You can meet the best people on it. There’s basically no wait at night but it’s also way colder. Fun way to cool down during the day.

My 5 year old absolutely loved this ride.
Throughout the day, line was never longer than 5 mins so we went over and over. Really cool ride with some great rapids and big drops which get you very wet.

We all like this ride. We normally ride this each time we come to Disneyland. It’s especially nice to ride on super hot days because you’ll get soaked. The grizzly bear in the mountain is pretty cool looking and it has lots of waterfalls and things around the mountain which mists areas and feels nice when it’s running.

The official record for number of Grizzly rides in a single day was set by Javier of "Just a Guy and a Girl" on Monday, 5/20/2024. The total number of times around River Run was 68.

If you ride this, you will get wet. They sell ponchos if you are adverse to this.

Californians get cold early, so if you're from a heartier clime and can handle air drying for a few minutes, I suggest going on around dusk, because the lines will be short, and the views lovely with the lights everywhere.

Super fun ride. Waited only about 30 minutes. The ride gets you a little wet but that makes it a better experience. Would recommend going on this ride on a sunny hot day so the water can dry off after the ride. I ended up riding this ride 3 times. Amazing!

You'll get wet, due to that unpredictable geyser near the end. Bring your own poncho or jacket. Still fun though, nevertheless.

This ride is very cool. It’s really cool to have a ride in the water and to get wet. The wait time was 20 minutes and the ride was totally worth it. The drop at the end is very fun and fast which makes it thrilling. Another cool thing is the tube spins which makes it even more fun. I recommend this ride to people who like to get wet and if you want to go to some other cool rides after it’s very close to Pixar pier so even the location makes it great too!

My favorite ride at DCA! Ride at night for even more fun! Very cool fog effects at night.

I end up taking twice this ride!! Exciting.

This ride is not only enjoyable but it is so refreshing on a hot day. I definitely recommend wearing ponchos when possible though. My 9yo son was pretty worried about the hills before riding, but ended up loving it.

This was my first time on this ride! We waited an hour for it which was fine cause the que was shady and entertaining... once we got on the ride it was super fun! Well worth the hour wait, the drops were perfect and getting wet was well needed on a hot day. I could do without the spinning though

Amazing ride!! It has great theming, amazing thrills, and the kids love it. If you’re going to ride on it though, make sure you either don’t care about getting your clothes wet, or ask the friendly staff on giving you a jacket. The ride staff are very friendly and will help you if you have a problem!

This is a really fun ride. It is so much fun at night because it just makes it a totally different experience and the best part which is there is zero line for this thing at night so you can just ride over and over, it's a shame they won't let you just stay in the boat and send you again though, they make you walk all the way around.
