California Sole

Visited during Hurricane Hilary on 8/20/23 with my friends to help them find better water shoes since they only had flip flops. Customer service was spot on! All the workers were attentive and helpful, especially Dani. She made checkout so easy so that we can start our magical fun in the parks after buying the right slippers. My friend was also able to use her military discount! I understand past reviews show horrible customer service, but times have definitely changed. What a great experience!

Forgot my daughters shoes at home so we went there before going into the park and got lucky they had her size in vans plus they were on sale

This team is absolutely amazing!!! We shopped there on our vacation in Disneyland last week and my wife ended buying some shoes because of te amazing customer service and I hesitated all to regret it. I called the store to tell them my sad story, Jackie answered all to be soooooo very helpful and needless to say I got my shoes today and couldn't be happier!! She wrapped with care and some great California Sole stickers which the family loves!! She is an amazing leader and a HUGE company asset!! everyone in this company should follow her lead when it come to customer service!! I would know what this needs to look like as I have been a retail district manager for 21 years!! I would love to have her work with me! thank you again Jackie!

Very nice staff

Good shoe selections, but no greetings from 3 staff members. No eye contact. Talking to each other. No purchase.

Employees were hiding from the 10 customers who wanted to try on shoes. Customers could only try on the sizes they happen to have hanging up because the people working there were avoiding helping the customers with sizes. One employee was sitting at the register on his phone. He had no one to ring up because no one could find their size. Another employee was hiding in the back, which we only knew because cash register guy occasionally went back and talked to the other employee.

When I asked cash register guy to find me my size (pretty common size, 12), he came out from the register, went to the back, talked to the hidden back of store employee for 5 minutes, and came back and told me no, they have no size 12 shoes, and went back to working on his phone behind the register.

I saw at least 20 people come in and leave without buying anything because no one would help them find their sizes.

20 potential sales lost because the employees didn’t want to talk to customers or do any actual work.

bought a pair of sandals in Dec 2022. I was told by the staff working there that the sandals I bought were water-proof. Well, water goes into the sandals and now every time I wear them my feet are wet.

This is funny as in my previous review, I mentioned that water goes into the sandals I bought, which means they are damaged by the water, not water proof. The store's response, as you can see below, tells me that my feet will get wet by wearing sandals. Am I complaining about my feet getting wet? What a silly and ignorant response from the store who does not even bother reading the customer's review carefully.

Terrible Customer Service – Shoes Returned but No Credit Card Refund
I purchased 2 pairs of OluKai shoes during a Family Trip to Disneyland on May 20th 2022. Once we returned home the shoes were a ½ size to large. I spoke with Darlene, the store manager, on the phone and she offered me a refund. I returned the unworn shoes with labels atteached by mail and they were successfully delivered on June 8th, 2022. It is now August 28th 2022 and the purchase has not been refunded to my credit card. I have called the store and talked to Darlene at least 4 times. Each time she promises a refund, but never follows through. Buyer beware.
