New favorite boba spot!!
I got a coffee milk tea with boba for myself and mango green tea with mango popping boba & mango jelly for my daughter.
She ! looovvveedd 😍 ! How cute the drink was - we've been to many different boba places but never seen star shaped jelly toppings! Also the taste was top notch!
Boba was really soft and chewy like how you'd expect it to be but some places can't even get that right, this place 200%!
Highly recommend & Definitely coming back

This is one of Little Saigon's best kept secrets. It's been here almost longer than I've been alive, for 26 years, serving up some old-school boba, but also keeping up with the times like a mystery cup they offer that comes with a surprise BTS or Sanrio keychain.

Not only do they have drinks, but their food is amazing too. First off, the ddukbokki is such a huge portion and a Korean classic.

Another classic, Korean corn dogs, which you can get single count or a pack of 4 if you're in a party mood ;)

Of course, none of this is complete without some bingsu or Korean shaved ice which tastes like the fluffiest thing you've ever put in your mouth.

went with a Jasmine milk tea, and thought about trying their cheesecakes. So I did, the creme brûlée is to DIE FOR. Pretty good NY style cheesecake.
Overall great experience.

The Green Apple slushi is amazing here! My girlfriend loved the Almond Milk Tea and I got my cousin the Honeydew Milk Tea. Boba Loca is one of the only places that carry green apple as a flavor so I'll get that when possible.

Great place for some boba tea and a Korean corn dog. So many yummy options.

The only worker is such a nice person! She made good suggestions and the place is so cute and clean. If you are looking for a nice calm and cute place to study and have boba, this is the place!

I have been to couple of boba places in California, and I have to say this was one of the best! The staff was the sweetest and patient with me as well. I ended up doing a customized drink option and I must say usually if a drink isn’t on the menu it’s a bit hard for anyone to make but they said they gladly would take the request, and they absolutely aced it!!!❤ Boba was fresh and the location was so clean and cute! Definitely recommend!💕

This is 100% coming from a heart full of bias as I have been drinking from this boba shop for as long as I can remember. Maybe it was 2006? Unsure. I can basically say that it has been my entire lifetime.

Although the tapioca milk tea here doesn't taste too strongly of a tea flavor, it is delicious in its own unique way. The same can be said about the strawberry slush... Who would have thought that artificial strawberry can be so delicious?

Without bias though, I think the way the boba is prepared is delicious. Perfect texture and flavor. This is a must-go every time I visit home. Boba loca for LIFE

Always good boba tea and there tornado sandwich is great. The chung Chun rice dogs are super good and well priced. I like the number 8 which is the hot Cheetos one half and half. My daughters like the same one but with only with cheese. My favorite drink is the coffee boba which is the boba loca one. Well if your in the neighborhood stop by and try you won't regret it

Friendly staff. They seem very down to earth. I only drink hot tea here, nothing too special actually, same with the corn-dogs. The atmosphere makes it worth it though

We're from Australia and have been craving for Milk Teas. The staff here are so friendly. I had chocolate milk tea and my fiance had Thai milk tea. They were both so delicious! Just right! Will definitely be back while we're in the area.

Cute lil place. Got the Loco Coffee boba. Was indecisive bc I like a good coffee. I'm used to strong American coffee it was tasty. Tad too sweet. But coffee flavor was there the boba balls made an interesting taste! I would buy it again. Interesting and yummy..wish It came with Almond milk also. (Friendly suggestion to owner) since a lot of people are lactose & tolerant. Little pricey but worth it

The new management did a total 360 to the place. Beside from the place being remodeled, the new owner is pretty friendly. The customer is superb. The girls there have very friendly attitudes and besides all that they are pretty cute. Aside from the service, the product is great. I recommend this place for a younger crowd who wants to go and spend time with friends or simply enjoy a drink and do some homework!!

At 10pm on a Sat got the best fresh Avocado shake I've had in a long time.. Great music, and wonderful servers that made a great toasted Chipotle turkey sandwich. Thanks, for making the date night even better

I've been going to Boba Loca for a few years now since 2006. I think they had a change in management since but the quality & service is still great. This definitely isn’t the best boba joint in town but it’s certainly not the worst. I appreciate that it was the original boba joint before others started popping up everywhere in OC. I like Boba Loca because of their consistency. When I say it’s not the best doesn’t mean that it’s not good. It just doesn’t fit my personal taste for coffee or tea because I like my drinks very bitter. Everything else is made the way that it’s suppose to. The boba are slightly soft & slightly chewy.

I typically keep it basic & get either the Boba Loca Coffee or Lychee Green Tea. The coffee is sweet with a mild coffee taste so I always ask to cut down the sugar as much as possible. The Green Tea is pretty standard like most other places.

I went to college in Hawaii so shaved ice & mochi everything was my everyday go to snacks. I had my first cup of House Special Korean Shaved Ice at Boba Loca when I relocated to the OC. It just hit the spot with the shaved ice topped with fresh fruits, red beans & different kinds of mochi drizzled with condensed milk.

I now go here for my kids to study when our internet is slow at home or to take care of some of my work in a more chill environment. Overall, Boba Loca is a pretty solid spot considering that there are so many boba places to choose from in the OC. I recommend coming here during the afternoon if you just want to hang out with friends to catch up or to study or get some work done. Almost everyone comes in with laptops & there are plenty of outlets. The staff are very friendly and it's usually quiet during the afternoon.

First off the decor is homey, yet gorgeous. Their coconut milk tea has phenominal quality. It has a creamy, taste true to coconut flesh and a frothy texture of bubbles at the top. They're so considerate that they serve the drink with finely crushed ice as not to impeade getting the boba with a straw after the drink is finished. And I love the crunchy, chewy quality of the mix of delicious boba ice and creme froth. They don't have too hard, frozen, or too gooey boba (which is hard to accomplish). I also sampled one of their makaroons and it was wonderful! The pistacio flavored macaroon had the perfect sugar crust that would crumble along the otherwise glassy green moist cake inside. It was delicious! This is the best boba place I've ever been to and my new favorite. :3 You must go and taste the joy#! :D
