River Meadows County Park

The park is a reminder of what happened, but it was a beautiful Monday morning. The sun was shining, and the skies were blue. We took a group of hikers up to the park and walked around it was wonderful.

There’s not a lot to this park— an indoor bathroom and a rocky beach. The kids had a blast throwing rocks and sticks into the river and running around. The water speed may vary over the year. In June, part of the river at this park is pretty calm, but it speeds up a lot on the other end of the park. I would recommend visiting in the morning to avoid facing the sun (which is what happens in the afternoon). We will be returning.

Beautiful, calm hike! Little trails lead off to different points of the river. Kid and pet friendly! There are some cool looking rocks along the river as well!

Camped in yurt during the winter and loved it. The heater cooked us out at night lol. Great bathroom that is your own for the trip. Lots of space in yurt. Nice trails down by river and huge open fields.

Great park near the river with a ton of easy trails for walking.

Yurt village was nice to stay at. Campsites seems a bit close together. Day use areas were being used for a wedding reception and what appeared to be a baby shower.

Deer are everywhere here!

The park was well maintained and had easy access to a lot of surrounding activities. We rented a yurt for our family of 4 and it was perfect. We had privacy and our kids had a lot of room to run and play. I was amazed that we had our own restroom and shower and how clean they were. Only draw back was there is not a general store,but over all we are definitely going back.

Excellent place to get out in the water and splash around. Out there today some kids were trying to tube down the river and it wasnt really deep enough. Took our dog and it was the perfect height for his short (corgi plus a few inches height) butt to run around without swimming in most places.

A really nice park by Stillaguamish river, a couple of trail under the yellow foliage perfect for the kids, river banks to explore, and a big green meadow in the center.
With Halloween 🎃 theme on the trail (check the mermaid :) it was a perfect stop in a sunny weather.

Great park. Nice views. Right by the river. Please keep the park in the same nice conditions that you find it. No littering. Don't burn tree sticks.
Bathrooms didn't have soap. But overall they were clean.

Viking fair. Bring your family crest and come fight and learn. Xoxo had a ball! Made my own outfit. Wonderful food and booths. Kids had so much fun!!!

Great park for swimming and hanging out! The river is a bit shallow in places, but there's a big rocky beach so it's easy to get your own space.

Beautiful old farm where my Father in law would catch salmon as a child on the Stilliguamish River. His daddy owned the place. Many happy families gather there in the sunshine just like we did for decades. I hope they fix the rafting haul-out soon. Many wonderful memories there for me, and for many others to. Beautiful walks to hidden river coves. Warm summer swims with a zillion screaming kids and rope swings and carefree hours of fun in the rocks, sand and mud. A place of true rebirth of a weary soul. The rules are for the benefit of those who love the place. Please, the rules are excellent, like no alcohol, and no fireworks, no RC Models, leash only, noisy disrespectful people should stay away.

OMG this place is gorgeous! I've never seen anything like it. Wish we could have stayed longer and explored more but not enough time ☹ definitely going to the top of my list for next visit!

We had a great time at the Midgard Viking Festival held here over the last weekend.

There was a decent amount of parking, although I'm sure the plague had something to do with that. We were taking the family on a small hike and there is a trail that follows along the edge of the river with various spokes going out to the river. The trail was fairly well maintained and had some really pretty views. If you're trying to get some mileage in I don't think this is the place for you but if you want to take the family on a little hour adventure it's perfect

It is really a great place to enjoy the outdoors. You can reserve space to camp, have birthday parties, or just go there to enjoy the river. There is a nice trail to walk along the river. It is also great to see how the river changes each year. Please be kind and pack out any trash you bring in.

Beautiful park right in the Stillaguamish River. Rented the large shelter there and I was impressed with the facilities.
