I have been coming here for over 20 years. Dr. Gary Garoian and Dr. Alec Garoian are both amazing. They always make sure you feel comfortable during any procedure and are very accommodating. I have had everything from fixing cavities, teeth cleaning, and teeth straightening. I have never had a bad experience.

My first visit with Dr. Alec was on 9/27/21 due to an emergency filling I needed. I was in a lot of pain due to an incident that had occurred the night before. He was cognizant of my pain and he was extra careful during the procedure.

Due to the 9/26/21 incident, I was unable to wear my braces retainers(from 2012) at night for a few months and that caused my teeth to shift. I brought up this concern along with teeth whitening to Dr. Alec’s attention and he asked if I’d be open to exploring Invisalign. I said yes but I had a lot of questions and he answered all of them in great detail. For teeth whitening, he recommended that I do it concurrently during the last few weeks of my Invisalign program since it cuts down the cost of teeth whitening.

I decided to move forward with the program. After using his high tech x-ray machine, Dr. Alec sent me a link to a virtual transformation showing the gradual shifts that would occur each week. This was very cool to see and motivated me to stick with the rules of the process. The duration of the program for me was 15 weeks but it varies for everyone. I just finished my last set of trays and teeth whitening a couple weeks ago and I’m extremely impressed with the results. I can’t thank Dr. Alec enough for being transparent and supportive throughout the process.

I recently visited Alec Garoian and had an exceptional experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, making me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. Their use of state-of-the-art gadgets and the advanced imaging tools, impressed me. The service was top-notch, with thorough explanations and attentive care. Best of all, there were no waiting times. Golden State Dental has been by far the best dental care I have ever experienced. The ambience of the office feels very comfortable and welcoming and they have a lot of new technology to make sure I get the best quality of care. Dr. Alec Garoian has taken very good care of my teeth with great passion. From setting up my first appointment to get X-rays and teeth cleaning to starting my Invisalign treatment. Dr. Alec and Gary Garoian have my complete trust when it comes to my dental care.

One of the best decisions I have made for my teeth is starting Invisalign with Dr. Alec Garoian. Not only did he educate me about my treatment, but also made me feel confident throughout the process. He also does a great job in tracking my progress and making sure that I am properly wearing the retainers. I am only halfway done with my Invisalign trays and I see a lot of improvement and progress with my teeth. I am much more confident in my smile and I highly recommend going to Golden State Dental for your dental care and Invisalign treatment!

I had multiple treatments with Dr. Alec Garoian and team and the results have been exceptional. I moved to this Dentistry after a referral and I can recommend it for everyone living in Orange County. I have been given comprehensive introductions to all of my procedures and I felt very comfortable during every session, due to the high amount of professionalism that has been implemented at Golden State Dental.

Can't say enough about Dr. G and Dr. Alec! I've been seeing Dr. G for over 10 years and Dr. Alec has been a great addition. They do all of my dental AND orthodontic care, pretty rare that you can get both in one location. Their new equipment is really impressive, they scanned a 3D image of my teeth so that Dr. Alec could go over each tooth in detail and show me exactly what he was seeing. They even have TVs mounted on the ceiling so that you can stay entertained/distracted while in the chair. Incredible staff, super friendly, very professional. 10/10 would recommend!

Golden State Dental is one of the best dental practices I‘ve ever been to. Not only do they work with super current equipment, Dr. Alec and the team are also especially knowledgeable and supportive. I feel very well taken care of, as they always explain procedures in detail, while never trying to sell anything that is not necessary.

Excellent service especially being the invisalign poster child lol......Best experience I've ever had at a dental place, perfectionists at what they do best and will leave you with a great smile.

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Alec Garoian as my dentist. I was incredibly impressed by his bedside manner, efficiency, and thoroughness. I was the last appointment of the day and rather than rushing to complete my exam and cleaning, Dr. Garoian took his time, did an amazing job, and explained everything in detail, despite my appointment running past their closing time. He has some of the latest technology available and is able to do a 3D scan of all your teeth. He was also able to show me a simulation of what my teeth would look like if I chose to do Invisalign. I would recommend his services to anyone looking for patient-centered care and a trustworthy dentist.

I visited Golden State Dental for the first time a couple of months back for my regular checkup and I will now only be going there. A friend recommended me this location and I can see why! Dr. Alec and Dr. Gary are more than professional, kind, and friendly. They answered all questions I had and took the time to explain when I didn’t understand. The office is very clean and welcoming. I’m glad I took the advice and made the switch to having Dr. Alec and Dr. Gary be my dentists!

I met my new dentist playing basketball. He is very professional, kind, and good at what he does. He recommended I get invisalign and now I have straighter and healthier teeth. It only took 8 weeks of new trays. This was so fast mostly because I had braces in the past but I lost my retainer 15 years ago. I would recommend Golden State Dental to all my family and friends.

I had a dental cleaning and a filling replaced after several years. It was super comfortable sitting in the chair (and watching tv) and I could barely feel anything at all. Dr. Alec did an amazing job and I would highly recommend this place to friends and family. They utilize new high tech equipment as well so you can understand exactly what they'll be doing.

I recently needed a new dentist and a good friend recommended I go to this Golden State Dental because of the "AWESOME" Dentists, Dr. Alec and Dr. Gary. I was so grateful because they were so kind, considerate, professional and more than happy to work with you regarding scheduling, payments etc!

Then...After I had work done by Dr. "A" I was so pleased with all of the knowledge & options he offered regarding my particular issues and desires for my smile. My bridge looks fabulous and I am so happy with my new Dentist (s) **They (Father & Son) are both so handsome and funny, always making your comfort a priority!!

I always had a negative experience about going to the dentist. But, after this visit, I have become an advocate. Dr. Alec is very experienced and knows exactly what to do. Dr. Alec made me feel comfortable and I believe the treatment plan is actionable and has my best interest in mind.

Was referred to see Dr. Alec by a friend of mine and I can say it was a great decision! Went in for a routine cleaning and he was gentle unlike previous dentists. The exam was very thorough and he answered all of my questions patiently. Highly recommended Dr. Alec!

I’ve been nervous to visit a dentist ever since I was a young child and after my last visit with golden state dental that nervousness is gone. I went in for a normal cleaning which is always easy but I found out I had a cavity I started freaking out! Well Dr G and the assistant where very nice and quick to help explain everything. I’m surprised to find things have definitely changed since I was young. My appointment to get my cavity filled felt like it took about 30 minutes even though it may have taken an hour. No pain no discomfort and just and easy in and out procedure overall.

Hands down the best dentist in OC, and I’ve dealt with MANY dentists in my lifetime. I went in for a whitening consultation and he was extremely honest and very knowledgeable.

He actually recommended me not to get the whitening treatment (which was a huge compliment). Most dentists I’ve dealt with would seize the opportunity to make a pretty penny, but Dr. Garoian and his team are very honest & humble.

I highly recommend Golden State Dental, everybody there is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced.
