This was my first time visiting American Barbershop and was guided there after reading the glowing reviews on both Yelp and Google. I called before going to the shop and was told there was no wait for a walk-in. I arrived walked in and was immediately seated in Dustin's chair. He asked how I would like my hair cut, and after a few ambiguous instructions Dustin went to work on my haircut. He worked his magic and about 20 minutes later I was done!. It looked great, but the proof is always the next day when you wash it. . The cut was in a few words the best I have had in YEARS! I can't recommend this shop enough! If you need a great cut, go see Dustin!

My 3 year old son loves this barber! It's so fun and interesting inside. The barbers are so good with kids. Evan is so talented and efficient.

I came in as a walk in and I was turned into a repeat customer after the first visit. A good barber is hard to find. It’s not vanity it’s just that when it come to my hair I’m picky about it. I walked in here with no appointment and I was approached by Dustin. He asked me what I wanted, asked specific questions, and went to work. Definitely worth the price and the experience was a real barbershop feel. I was happy with my cut and already scheduled my cut in 2 weeks with Dustin. Definitely worth checking out this shop 🤙

If you’re looking for a great barbershop in Downtown Orange, check out American Barbershop. Shop is clean, well kept, and a great atmosphere. Website makes it easy to book appointments and guarantees you won’t be sitting there for an hour like some other barbershops. Go see AJ and don’t be late.

If you are looking for a Real Barbershop, this is the place. I been taking my kids to AJ (the baby whisperer) since before they were walking. He's a very skilled barber that listens to what you want and makes it happen. Great conversations at the barber shop.

This barbershop is outstanding. I've been coming to American Barbershop since 2011 at their Santa Ana location. My very first day Aj was there to get me looking right. Ever since then I have yet to find another Barbershop. The new Orange location is absolutely perfect as there are nearby shops and ample parking.

There is also designated parking for the barbershop. Aj and his team are incredibly professional and just a great time to be around. I had moved from OC to live in Riverside in 2016, but continued to commute to DTSA to see Al, and will now continue to commute to see Al and his team at the Orange Circle.

The barbers that work at these locations are extremely professional and will work with what you got. Aj always brings in highly qualified barbers to serve the clients. This is the only barbershop I trust with using a straight razor on my face for my beard line up. The prices are fair, and if you are wanting to change your appearance and hairstyle then you shouldn't try to cheap out.

Overall, you wouldn't regret stopping by and gaining a relationship with a barber. Its been over a decade for me and I Haven't switched up. 10/10 ! Keep up the good work!

Great environment and cool decor on the inside. Evan is super friendly and not only gave a great cut, but was able to provide helpful guidance without being too pushy when I wasn’t sure what exact cut I wanted.

My new favorite place to go for a haircut! My barber Russ also does a phenomenal job. Great atmosphere, and even better haircuts.
