I have had a lot of tamales this year. Homemade...From home pick up, to cars and vans to roadside stands. 🤣 And these ones have been the best so far. The cheese and jalapeños. And the lady that helped us, was so nice. She was concerned because she said they had sat there for a while, inside the warmer. But, they were delicious! She even gave us 3 extra to say sorry hope u like them!!! (In the picture their tamale is in the back. I wanted to show the size difference. 2nd tamale picture, theirs are on the mostly white plate!)

Delicious pan dulce!!! Bakeries don’t often have my favorite cake (pictured) but this was amazing. EXTREMELY moist, just the right amount of sweetness, perfectly baked and the icing on top wasn’t grainy at all. Love love love, and the woman at the counter was so sweet. Will be coming here with my grandmother from now on

La Estrella is a little Mexican bakery, you walk up to the counter, grab a pair of tongs and a tray and grab the pastries you want. They're pretty cheap (though not marked), and delicious. In true Mexican tradition, the breads are typically crumblier and less sweet than American pastries, but are still really good. They also sell some really good Tamales (chicken, pork, cheese). I would suggest getting a champurrado or getting a big ol' glass of milk to enjoy your pasteles with.

Delicious pan dulce. Absolutely astonishing variety of Latino sweet bread. I was really caught by surprise that I can find a coffee cake and a cinnabon made Latin style. Absolutely enjoyed the customer service and was very satisfied with the taste of the bread

So I was sitting outside of this place and I was reading the reviews. I was deciding whether to go in. And I'm really glad I did. I got two tamales. And they were humongous no exaggeration. They were really good. They're moist. The masa was good and very tasty. There was just enough me not too much and the taste of the salsa was absolutely great. I would go there again. I got the cheese and jalapeno watch out. They're kind of spicy. They're perfect for me. And I got the pork with red sauce. The girl who was there was really nice. Really good service. Five out of five!

Tamales were double the size of a regular tamale and were so good! Its so hard to find good tamales but im glad we were recommended to this place :) the tamales are like $3.50 each but for the size its worth it to me since some other place charged me like $2.50 for a taquito-size tamale and a HUGE let down in taste.

I wish this place would move to my neighborhood. They have a broad selection of classic pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread). The place smells wonderful and everything I tried was delicious. Often, pan dulce I've gotten elsewhere has plain flavoring but these consistently had more. For example, the concha (round bread with pattern of frosting like stuff on top) usually has "frosting" with a muted sweet flavor and that's it. La Estrella's had hints of complementary flavors. Not even the empanadas (triangular bread with some fruit or cream filling) were overly sweet.

Me and my husband LOVE PAN. We had to stop eating it recently do to my husband having 3 strokes. It was scary. One of the things we changed for his health to improve was stop eating all this junk. One day we were driving up Valley Blvd, my husband says, hey they have one of those bread stores rite here. I said, NO it's more towards San Bernardino cause when he said that we were passing thru Bloomington. Anyways long story short. We stopped at the one in San Bernardino. Omg, this bread was fresh and warm when we got them. I love Conchita's. My husband got a little treat too. I asked the girl at the register, I said, do you have other stores in the same area. She said yes there is another one in Bloomington CA. I knew it. You can't forget the name of there store La Estrella bakery. The way it was written stuck in my head...😂🤣
Well it was fun while it lasted. I have to keep on top of our eating because we're getting older and we need to take care of our bodies so we can stay alive a little longer to watch our son and our grandkids get older, graduate highschool. Maybe see one of them go to college. And we would really love to see one of the kids get married. Only God knows our plans. Everyone stay safe. God bless, Have a happy holiday, merry Christmas and all that jazz!...🤣😂👍🏻💯🤷🏻‍♀🎁🎊🎈🎉🙋🏻‍♀

There tamales are absolutely delicious. They are not dry and with a good amount of meat. Resonance and friendly. Ever since they moved from San Bernardino. We miss them but we are willing to go where they are presently located for there tamales. Oh yes.

Best tamales around pork, chicken, rajas(cheese & jalapeños. But the pork are simply the best a bit pricey but worth every penny. And their pan dulce is great too!!! If you like where you get your tamales from now then don't try this place cause these tamales are the best and you'll leave you spot for these tamales guaranteed!
