Oakmont Park

This park is a hidden gem in the middle of Redlands. Rarely crowded, it is a wonderful spot for a walk, a quiet space to eat, read or meditate, and a stunning spot for photos. Be ware, parking is incredibly limited. Also, please be respectful of the neighbors, as this is directly in the center of a beautiful neighborhood. Bathrooms were closed during our visit, and the drinking fountain did not work.

What a great little park. Well there isn't a ton of parking in the park, there is plenty street parking. I did the trail loop which is about 2 and 1/2 mi with 300 ft of climbing. Wildflowers were amazing, there were a few bicycles that passed me that did not have bells so you need to look out. Lovely views everything was super clean and obviously well maintained. I'll definitely be back when I want to go for a quick walk and I'm in the area.

Great Trail connected nearby to this sleepy park. Very little trash, light traffic on rainy day, a full meadow, beautiful wash with excellent stones nearby. Snake shed pressed against a wall, as it warms up nature comes to life off these great trails.

Not a lot of shade, best times to go are 60-80⁰

The trails here are unreal! Clearly marked, absolutely beautiful and wide enough for a dog, adult, and small human! Safe and clean with enough choices to never feel like your hikes are redundant. If you're looking for a nice quiet hike this is the place to go!!!

This Park has numerous hiking and biking trails. It offers stunning views of the nearby valley, picnic area kept clean. We hike here every other week. One of my family's favorite.

Great hiking trail. Very kid friendly !

Wonderful trail system especially for mountain biking! Also great for trekkers, hikers, joggers, walkers etc. No bathrooms here so plan accordingly, dog friendly but on leash.

Good trails and expanding trail network. Great for green mtb riding or intermediate trail runs as well as a nice early morning hike. Not a lot of tree cover so plan for lots of sun.

Awesome Redland’s park to take a hike.

always have a great time riding my bike with my buddies here!!! there are so many trails too choose from! ove built a few jumps throughout this area bc i come here so often lol def try it out and see if you like it!! there are so many trails to choose from including ones better for hiking and ones better for biking!! my personal favorite is going the backwards route of pheonix trail it is fast moving and there are some small kickers along the way!!!!!

Nice easy walking paths with beautiful scenery.

We had our family photos taken here at our photographer's suggestion and were not disappointed. It wasn't overly crowded, the kids got to burn off their energy between photos and the scenery looked great! Just watch out for fire ants in the trees. We plan on going back for a family hike soon as all the trails were clearly marked and well maintained.

It's a great location to enjoy some of our last open spaces before they're all gone. It's got some great views of the south side of San Timeteo Canyon at the canyons Southwest entrance. You will need to bring any food or water you will need with you. And remember, you pack it in, you pack it out, please don't ruin the beauty of this rural park with litter. I agree with everything the other reviewers said except one thing. Sorry Dominic, there are several spots throughout the park that are great for a Picnic. Trust me, I'm an expert.

Very nice hiking trails. Perfect for beginners

This place is great! There are picnic tables at the front, and benches throughout the grounds. There are multiple trails and you even get to spot a wild animal from time to time. Now that the rain has past, its exceptionally beautiful.

Absolutely lovely trail, very peaceful. It is never crowded, perfect for walking my dog. We've spotted a couple of tarantulas, which were a delight for us to see in person.
