Francisco's Kitchen & Cantina

We had a late lunch. I imagine this place is hopping for the regular lunch time. There were a few guest so it was not crowded.

We ordered the guacamole appetizer. It was dressed with feta and fresh cranberries. Served with large round corn tortilla chips. It was the best guacamole that I have ever had. Most guacamole has the overwhelming taste of cilantro. This one did not. The chips were good as well!

We also had the coconut shrimp appetizer with a citrus sauce. The sauce paired well with the shrimp. It was delicious.

We also ordered the Caesar Salad and the French onion soup combo. It was very good!

We chose to sit outside. The weather was glorious. The area is right on the side of the main street and it did at times get a little noisy but it was overall pleasant eating outside.

The restaurant appeared to be clean and organized! Our waitress was very nice and helpful with suggestion and answers to questions.

Always crowded!!! Best steak in town. We have been here few times and never disappointed. Try their nachos while dining. Awesome fresh nachos steaming hot!!! Missed to take pics of nachos as I was starving. Quite an ambience to dine.

First time here. The food was well prepared and everything was delicious. Really enjoyed the baked shrimp- generous amounts of cheese. Excellent, attentive service as well. I didn’t eat the top bun of my burger and my server Jovany noticed this and he recommended if I come back to get a lettuce wrap substitute.

Will definitely return for dinner to try some of their steaks!

Food was unreal, SO delicious. Got the filet mignon, wrapped in bacon with side of veggies (green beans and roasted red peppers) and switched out the baked potatoes for garlic bread ciabatta. So worth it, and would absolutely order again. I cannot praise the food enough, especially because I find the food in the marysville area to be very lacking and low in choices.

Pretty pricey, paid $39 for just the entree alone. 3 person meal with filet mignon, prime rib and fish and chips along with alcoholic drinks for 2 and water for 1 ran us $157 before tip. Again, the food was SO worth it, but unfortunately, I don't think my budget could handle this weekly. Probably just a special occasion kind of event.

It is not a large restaurant and there was a significant wait to be seated because there is limited seating in general. A couple would be seated the quickeat, saw a number of 2 top tables. Fortunately, the bar had 3 open seats, so my party was able to snag those without any wait.

Quite loud for such a small place (see video) and limited walking space for staff and patrons. Staff were incredibly efficient and friendly though. Had Interactions with many different, all pleasant.

I would still go again in a heartbeat, the food alone was worth it.

The restaurant is next to the lake. We met some friends here and grabbed dinner. They have an adult and kid menu. The food was fantastic. I got a burger, and it was thick with flavor and juices. My husband got a steak with shrimp. The portion size is average. They do have to-go boxes if you want to order out or take leftovers home. They have a cool peak a boo window on the floor to see the lake. The day we went the water was very low, but an unexpected find. There is also an outdoor eating area with umbrellas. It was cold, windy, and rainy the day we went so we ate indoors. The patio area would be nice to enjoy in better weather. There is a parking lot in the front but could also park at the lake and walk over if full.

If in the area, it is a great place to grab a bite.

Very high quality food.. The steak is great. Oscar chicken was amazing. Attractive presentation. Very popular place.
Update: I ate here again. The tropical salad and ceviche are both delicious.

Food and Service are excellent - from the super excellent Nachos and Soup appetizers thru the main course tacos and burger to the cheesecake and chocolate cake deserts the food is well prepared and served at its peak. Guac and chips in the nachos are notably fresh. The kitchen does a great job but the service is why we come back often. Servers are knowledgeable and caring. Kitchen delivers some of the best fresh made food we have seen in the Pacific northwest. Will be working down my wish list of menu items. BBQ ranch chicken salad is a favorite along with the fish and chips (on a very hungry day I have eaten both). My wife and I also like the steak salad. The crispy chicken salad is a current favorite - notable for the finest taste and texture I have seen in fried chicken.

My family, who are all excellent cooks including myself can be a bit critical about flavors/tastes/textures of our foods.
We were all satisfied and happy with the food and drinks here. Waiter, young smiling man was very good at his job too.
The experience was delightful.

I'm unable to state enough positive things about Francisco's. Learned it's a tribute establishment for the father of the family.

After an hour wait and the established 4.8 star rating we felt it was worth the wait...it was.

Sat at the bar and throughly enjoyed the action. TEAM and communication was excellent. The pièce de ré·sis·tance was after our meal was underway, a side of mushrooms showed, and apology that accompanied. They admitted they had shorted my dinner and wanted to make it right. WHO DOES THAT?

We're returning agin, and again, again...

Flavorful steak and amazing sides. Thursday nights are ‘steak night’ and you can get a steak with an extra sauce side (normally a $5 add on) for $37. I highly recommend the bacon wrapped scallops as an appetizer. We got a rare filet mignon (cooked to perfection) and a bone in ribeye medium that was a little on the well side, but still very tender.

Javoni was also an amazing server. Very attentive and helpful in recommending menu items. There was a large party who got sat right before we arrived, but he made sure to check in and made the wait feel insignificant.

I highly recommend Francisco’s for a night out!

Everything was great! My steak was cooked to my preference and was very flavorful. Their french onion soup and caesar salad was delicious and a generous size. I would definitely eat here again!

Super amazing atmosphere and amazing food! The food looked like it came straight from a 5 star restaurant! And it tasted so much better! The art in the restaurant is actually hand painted by a member of the owners family and it's such a beautiful place to eat! Their bar is so awesome with the lightning as well. Definitely cannot wait to come back!

Great atmosphere, fabulous food and great service. We were planning our next visit before we left. My favorite dishes are the Lemon Butter Salmon, Chicken Oscar, Shrimp Skewers and the Tropical Salad.

My wife and I came here knowing that the prices were a little high. Honestly, it's nice to have an upscale restaurant in Lake Stevens. It's built over a creek, and we got a patio table overlooking the water. It was very nice. We shared the pistachio salmon with asparagus, lobster tails, a Caesar salad, and a twice-baked potato. Everything was absolutely delicious. I'm not much for spending a lot of money on food, but it was our wedding anniversary and much deserved. Service was top-notch.

Dine in experience was great! The food was fresh and delicious. I order the crispy chicken sandwich add buffalo sauce with fries. The watermelon margarita was amazing!!! Our server Jessica was amazing.

The servers were spot on thru our entire experience. It was my 74th birthday celebration and the food was so good. And the server surprised me with a most delicious piece of cheesecake that was enough for us there to share. I brought home leftovers that made for a great breakfast and lunch too!!! Thank you.

We had a great time. Prime rib was awesome. The twice baked potato had bacon in it...Yum. The bartender was was equally as great. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Burger was yummy.
Atmosphere was a bit loud and crowded, but that's expected on a Saturday dinner rush.

Food - delicious, drinks - well made, nice and strong, service - waiter was very attentive and other staff worked as a team to deliver food and drinks! Overall, my birthday dinner at this place for my first time...I will definitely return and recommend to anyone. Thank you Francisco's!

Sat in the bar. Some of the best service I have ever had and the food was awesome! Got steak and lobster fantastic! One of the best margaritas ever!!
