Arroyo Grande Library

Is the library I went to as a child and the library I take my children to now. The staff has always been helpful and nice, we've never been told to be quiet and they've done fun things for the kids in the past like a summer reading program.

Great selection of new books, Eye- catchinly displayed on entry tables.
Perfect natural lighting throughout.
Many great choices, whether books on tape, videos, "coffee table" books worthy of photography awards, children's books and a large selection for young adult readers; computers for personal use, new magazines and news papers. It's not a large library but it has much to offer.
I'm always impressed by the new book selection on a variety if topics.
Great staff, organized and knowledgeable.

Great resource for seniors, was also able to attend the orchid show in 2018 here and it was spectacular! Definitely try and go to the orchid show if you can. Bought 2 new orchid plants. Also got a great childhood psychology book here. When they need to make room for more newer books they give some away which is how I got it. They also do book sales every so often.

I love this library! I've been going for years. The staff is so kind and courteous. They go out of their way to accommodate whatever my needs are. They've helped my daughter with school assignments they are simply the best!!!!

My local public library. In case you didn't know, anyone with a library card can access not only any book in the local Black Gold network of libraries but also in affiliated university libraries like UCSB. Public libraries are totally awesome and the Arroyo Grande library has been a fixture in the community for decades.

Love it, lots of different media, books, CD's, tons of movies, very big, lots of computers, free internet, and very nice people working there, as soon as my girls could write their own names, they got library cards! Thanks!!!!!

I love my local library! The librarians are very helpful, especially the children's librarian.

The staff is extremely courteous and knowledgeable. They have helped me find things and order things.

Just walk up services for now. I reserved my books and DVD online. Staff are the best.
