Spyglass Inn Restaurant

I was traveling up the coast and decided to spend the night in Pismo Beach. I found a good deal online for the Spyglass Inn. After getting settled in my room I went out to explore the grounds, which are perched cliff-top over the beach. Sunset was approaching so I decided to have a cocktail at the bar/restaurant. As I was enjoying my martini and watching the sun go down, I asked to see a dinner menu. The stuffed sole caught my eye. It was a good sized piece of fish stuffed with a generous amount of shrimp and crab, topped with a flavorful sauce, rice and veggies on the side. The service was attentive and the atmosphere is awesome. Overall, a great experience.

Amaaaaaazzzzzing! Rooms are spacious, clean and good looking. Service was super! The hot jacuzzi outside was our salvation from the cold. Would definitely come back here.

I grew up in the area, I love the view.and there's great motels next door and all less than 20 feet to the beach. This time we picked up two salads one with bacon and there house ranch, onion rings, two ice teas and clam chowder. Not bad at all. Find me by Google searching Justin David Myers albums by Point One. Must see ..Dinner at sunset by the water. The views set the mood for a unique experience and stunning views at that. We were blessed to be able to go here.

This is the most lovely place! A Shell Beach Gem. My friend & I were looking for a late breakfast at 11:00 on a Monday. I remembered Spyglass from years ago. Not only did they have delicious breakfast, but the view was killer! Our server friendly & attentive. Highly Recommend!

Great restaurant on Shell Beach! They got us in immediately on a Friday evening and sat us on their beautiful outside patio with the appropriate social distancing. Waitress was very friendly and suggested their amazing lobster mac and cheese! Huge portions! This place will definitely be our go to from now on!

The BEST omlette I have EVER had, hands down. So good! Paired with delicious Sunset Mimosa and it made for an excellent breakfast.

They had a great dessert. This was also the catch of the day and was top 3 of the halibut dishes ive ever had. The view is great and the service is awesome. Between pismo and avila, get in there and check it out. You can even take a stroll along the cliffs. Im so glad things are opening up. The chef is also amazing to cater to our wants. This is one of my favorite places in Pismo Beach. We go here quite often and it’s always excellent. Today was no exception. Our waitress, Patricia, was exceptional. It is hard to find great crab these days, but this was hot, steamy, plump and so sweet! It was one of my favorite lunches ever!

All you can eat Dungeness crab on Tuesday for $41! You get bread, veg or clam chowder, vegetables and rice pilaf. The clam chowder actually had plenty of clams. It was thick and creamy. We ate on the back deck with a ocean view. We happen to see whales the distance.

Wow! So lucky, we stopped on the corner to get gas after leaving The Cliffs hotel. Everything we had was great! Good food, good prices, clean restaurant, great view and friendly staff.

Loved the scenery, have a cocktail in a to-go cup and admire our beautiful California coastline with a warm summer breeze.

Great deals at happy hour! Good sea food. Get your seats early, Live sunset show every night! & view of the water is outstanding. Nice mix of locals and travelers. Also VERY popular for weddings!

Breakfast was delicious, Chorizo and Eggs were light and fluffy. The service was awesome!

The lox and bagels are very fresh and delicious. I also have plenty left over to take home! My favorite dish.

We ate out on the patio overlooking the ocean. The view was amazing. The food and service were excellent!

Stayed in a ground floor unit that opened to a big grassy area with firepits overlooking the ocean a top the bluffs. Amazing views. Highly recommended. When I go again I will stay here.
