Arroyo Grande Home And Garden

We shop here often. It's clean, organized, the employees are always very helpful, and polite. We also take our bulldog inside often with us, and the employees are always dog friendly along with being dog treat ready. My wife is a big fan of their garden area, while I like the fact that they show some veteran appreciation. They have a parking spot dedicated for Vets, provide a discount, and I recently noticed a drop off for retired US Flags at their curb (adjacent to their shopping cart rack). I also don't receive an abundance of emails, a few about sales, or a coupon. It's not often or obnoxious soliciting which is nice.

Their pricing is in line with the other 4 local hardware stores. I couldn't recommend them enough!

Awesome quality nursery plants and decor pieces. LOVE all the cement statuary and pots by Athens Stone Casting. Just came down from Los Osos and loaded my truck again. Thanks to the ladies in nursery especially Anna for jumping in and helping load up 4 carts. (Request please; get some different pedestals to put the statue pieces and pots up on to.) You've gotta check them out, a good range of pricing and different sizes from small bird baths to huge Roman urns! Amazing. Keep up the great buying! See some of our haul in posted pictures ;o)

This store is amazing! Staff is friendly and helpful. Have a huge gift/home selection indoors and gorgeous plants and their accessories outside. Prices are competitive and quality high.

AG Home and Garden has almost everything the customer might need, including hardware. My husband prefers shopping there for his home projects since this store always seems to have the exact size screw or other project need. But my favorite is the garden section. What a nicely arranged, and fully stocked store! I spoke with the garden staff and every plant has been specifically ordered for that store's stock. The greenery is not the "leftovers" after all the other merchandisers have selected their sales items from the delivery truck. It isn't the "probably good" plants the box stores have picked over for their stores. Not only that, but the staff are good resources for plant questions. My favorite plant booster product came from a staff recommendation. We are lucky to have Arroyo Grande Home and Garden !

I absolutely love AG Home and Garden. I find that I am in there at least once a week. 😀 Everyone is so friendly/helpful- they have an incredible selection in the garden. And their prices are much better than any other hardware store. It’s a home town feel with an incredible staff… and the garden is my happy place! 🌼🌻🌸

Amazing store. Huge selection of product and quality items at great prices. All the staff were so kind and helpful. Scott was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable on Stihl products as well as other home improvement projects. Can’t speak highly enough of him!

I love Arroyo Grande Hime & Garden! The staff is very friendly attentive as soon as I walk in the door. They have regular promotions that offer good prices and are very festive!

What a wonderful time we had at the one year anniversary celebration. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we feel so lucky to have them in our neighborhood! Their coupon saved me $25 which helped me complete my garden project. Have you seen the Vintage truck in the garden center? It reminds us all that building roots begins with a simple seed... and a lot of care!

We love Arroyo Grande Home & Garden. They have everything we need for projects, plus a gorgeous garden center, plus children's toys and items, plus home decor... so really we are all happy when making a trip there. Our last visit Kurt assisted us, and was truly invested in helping us find a solution to our project, so on top of all the things a wonderful staff as well. :)

My husband and I love this hardware store. We travel from Orcutt just to shop there. Great help and wonderful selection of plants and gifts!

I really need too stress how awesome Scott is in the stihl department,I drive from lake nacimiento,not only for OUTSTANDING service,but too purchase all my stihl equipment,Scott has met me at the store on is days off for emergency repairs and purchases,I really hope his professionalism is recognized . he's a genuis.

I love this store! The staff is helpful ! I have many favorite things about Arroyo Grande Home and Garden, but the large garden and outdoor living center is AMAZING. Love that many of the plants and items are from local growers and vendors. Shopping local and supporting local business is more important than ever! The selection of patio furniture and outdoor décor is fantastic. The gift and homewares department is something you need to see! I can buy a gift for any occasion and ALWAYS find something for me.

We traveled from the San Joaquin Valley to enjoy the coast and found this wonderful store! Shopping is such a pleasure! The staff is very friendly and very helpful! From all of the normal hardware supplies to a beautiful garden area and great home decor area. Great place to find that special gift for anyone!

I was very happy to see this store revitalize the old K-Mart space and open. I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Most of my trips are for small items like nails, screws, spackle, seeds, plants, tape, etc. I've been in the store ~6 times in the past few months, and I'll keep going back!

I love this store; besides the hardware things they have the best garden shop. So many beautiful healthy plants and plenty of garden art and tools. The home store has the cutest things and gifts for every occasion.

Over the years I’ve learned to trust my first impressions which have been reliable and accurate. I visited this store for the first time this past week and was very pleasantly impressed by its size, quantity, quality and presentation of its stock, prices, staff friendliness (greeted both entering and leaving), helpfulness when it came to assisting with a chainsaw issue and the personalization of the garden section with vintage signs. I will definitely shop here again and often.
