Shin's Poke

Shin's has great Poke! Their fish is very fresh and they have a great selection of toppings. My Fiancé has celiacs and Steven who has helped us a couple of times is great about knowing which ingredients are safe for her to eat. He's always super friendly and the customer service is always great. Definitely give them a try!

Delicious customizable poke in downtown Pismo beach. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good amount of protein and so many toppings.. Absolutely loved it!

If you're into poke bowls and you are in Pismo Beach, you got to try this place out. Great food, nice staff, awesome selections of what you want in your bowl. I pretty much throw almost everything on it with half rice and seaweed/salad. I call it the Asian garbage bowl. A must try. You won't be disappointed.

Wow. I didn’t get to take a pic before digging into this but had to stop eating mid way through to write this review. Spent the day at pismo beach and was staaaaarving afterwards. Shin’s Poke came to the rescue. This place went above and beyond. Tons of options for toppings and so so so so many sauces. I will definitely be coming back. Totally reasonably priced. The fish tastes amazing. Seriously couldn’t recommend more. Will def be coming back.

Great food and service. Menu is simple and straight forward (besides those spaces randomly in there). Employees were polite, welcoming and helpful. There were ingredients running low and some empty which they promptly went in the back and got/made more.
Fairly priced for what you get. If you think about it a single roll of sushi is between 10 to 20 dollars. The large bowl is 15 and so much more food.
Impressed and will be back!

Service was outstanding. Poke was fresh and the spam masubi was made fresh. All 4 of us enjoyed it. Only snapped 2 pics the other 2 were gone too fast!

FOOD: delicious Poke, fresh ingredients, with great variety of toppings and one curious one: crunchy spicy Cheetos!
SERVICE: attentive, nice and very supportive, explaining all the options available, offering help and being always kind to respond to any questions. Definitely worth the visit and try one their yammy poke options while visiting Pismo.

We came here on our roadtrip from San Francisco to San Diego, and it was so good we stopped on our way back north as well!
Excellent quality salmon and tuna, and tons of sauce and topping options. We came at off hours one of the times and the rice wasn't dry which was impressive as we wouldn't have been surprised if it were. The lady behind the counter helped us both times and was super nice and helpful. We tried musubi (spam and rice wrapped in seaweed wrap like sushi) for the first time here, and it was fantastic! The only reason we didn't get it again today was because we couldn't finish everything last time (large poke bowl and musubi). But it'd be a perfect late afternoon snack.
Absolutely would go out of our way to return next time we're in California! Locals please give it plenty of business to keep it going strong till we come back!

First time trying Shin’s and was so impressed! Will definitely be going back! Loved how custom you could make your bowl and everything tasted so fresh. The service was amazing and they even helped me understand what on the menu was gluten free - which was a lot!

There are two size options of the poke bowls. The small one is plenty. The tuna, salmon and the toppings are fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful find just a few blocks from shore! Poke bowl options were plentiful. I went with a make your own option: base mix of white rice & greens, salmon, crab mix, corn, cucumber, seaweed salad, carrots, pickled ginger, mango, spicy mayo-like sauce & seasoning. A large order was huge & made for great leftovers. The young lady serving was super nice telling me about Pismo Beach and walking me thru my poke options. Made my night! A jewel of a restaurant!!

Super fresh seafood. Love the varied toppings and the price is spot on. Ordered a medium tuna bowl and loaded up on flavor packed sauces and toppings. The night we were in there was only one staff member behind the counter and got a bit of a rush. She was super sweet and helped each group with the same level of happiness, and don't lose her cool. What a great experience.

Went here with family who recommended it. Everything is so fresh and delicious. You leave feeling amazing ! You just feel SO good after eating such fresh and healthy food. You choose your own toppings and choose one or more fantastic sauces to drizzle on your bowl. I had salmon on greens with many toppings and three sauce combinations. The flavors explode in your mouth! Excellent customer service as well! Highly recommend this place for sushi lovers and food lovers alike!

This place is fantastic! Half the experience was getting served by one of their employees (sadly didn't get his name) who is super friendly and helpful. Most of the toppings are vegan and they have tofu for the base as well. Prices are a bit on the high end but you can get unlimited toppings with a medium or large bowl which is perfect.
