Pancho's Surf Shop

This is the coolest place we saw on our entire trip to California. Cant say enough about the staff. Everyone was friendly to us and they even served as tour guides to the surrounding area. Thanks for the tips on where to go see some cool beach front.

Totally loved the old skateboard scene in here. It was almost like a museum up on the walls that I could show my kids. Brought back all the youth memories and things I had forgot about. Plus they had all the cool clothing, so of course I walked out with about 20+ shirts hahaha. .

The lower half of California was not a good time for us. Until we stopped in this town, and meet the some people like the folks at Pancho's, I was questioning why anyone even liked California. But they showed us it was pretty cool state and lots of cool stuff to do. They showed us that there are still a lot of Californians that life up to the hype we all hear about.

So I promised the gentleman behind the counter that I would support Pancho's shop on my race car after he hooked me up with a bunch of awesome shirts and some stickers. See attached photo lol. I kept true on my promise and took you guys to the 2023 NASA Championships in Pittsburg this year lolol. We put it on pole and finished third overall in our class. Also had my new Powell Peralta shirt on under my fire suit hahaha. Best picture i had showing your decal on the rear fender.

So ya, if your reading this stop in and check this place out. If you're a Gen X you wont be disappointed. If you are a cool person you wont be disappointed lolol. If this place was a 1000 miles or so closer I would go here every weekend..

And to the shop people themselves, keep up the great job and I wish you all the best success for years to come. If I make it back out your way this will be the first place I visit. If you make it out to KC look me up. Would be glad to give you the tour of our area.

There is a lot of sandal, a lot of surf board, a lot t-shirts. Store are super clean and organize. They also have skateboard and skateboard supplies.

This place has all the high end super quality flojo flip flops, hoodies, sunglasses, trucker hats and beanies. What a dope store!!

Friendly employees, big store, lots of inventory of surf/skate/clothing. I wanted to write a review specifically for their sweatshirts. Their sweatshirts are so soft and last for years! I always purchase one when I visit.

Cool and viby Surf Shop in Pismo Beach. The staff was very helpful finding correct sizes. Great selection!

I cannot put into words how awesome the staff are. Made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in.

Love this store. Always have awesome new stuff and can usually find some pretty great stuff on sale too. Prices are fair, you don't get gouged since it's in Pismo. Staff is very helpful and always have a pleasant interaction. If there is any negative, which there really isn't, is that it sometimes gets a little crowded since they are so busy on the weekends,(not a bad problem to have).

We stopped in to buy my daughter a wet suit and we were immediately greeted by the friendly staff. I wish I got everyone's name because each person was truly a down-to-Earth being. They taught us about the proper sizing and thickness of the wetsuit we were looking for. Looking at the apparel, these guys understand print and design. And, I loved all the old boards around the shop. I'm guessing that they don't have an online shop because they want you to come back to Pismo...their way of paying it forward to the community. From being a SoCal lover, Pancho's is the best thing on the coast!

Awesome spot with a good selection of wetsuits reasonably priced!!!!! The guy who helped us with the wetsuits was the best. Said he’d been working there for 30+ years and it showed cause he totally knew his stuff. Thanks for the help we will be back!

Massive store with tons of t-shirts, bathing suits, etc... One of the touristy shops worth checking out!

Sales associate, Kaitlyn, was outstanding. Friendly, helpful, and competent, with a great attitude. Went out of her way to look through 30 boxes to find the correct size. Really great shop! The staff is amazingly friendly. I had a ton of questions and they were super engaging! Every time I go in there, they are always quick to help out!

A must visit!!! Too many cool things everywhere!

Visiting Pismo for the weekend and we had 2 great experiences at Panchos. First day my boyfriend was looking for sunglasses, I didn’t get the girls name but she was very knowledgeable and helpful. Second day my bf and daughter want to start skating so we went in to look at skate boards. Austin was very knowledgeable and helpful with building 2 boards. He was awesome to work with, super sweet talking with my daughter about skating too. It was a great experience and I know we wouldn’t have had that at any other store. We will definitely be back!!!

Came up here for a paddle out in celebration of a lost buddy. Pancho's has been amazing with rentals, letting us swap surfboards throughout the day and made special accommodations to get a friend's young daughter into a wetsuit for her first time surfing. They were awesome!

Love this place! They have high end, premium equipment, but also affordable starter equipment. My entire family loves this place. If you are coming here on vacation, this is a MUST STOP!

These guys are great! Wonderful atmosphere. Most surf shops have typically filled themselves with lazy, "stoner " type employees, but PANCHOS have always had top notch workers who act like family. I have been a patron of this shop for over 30 years and moved to Michigan years ago, but when I called on them to try to replace a sticker from my old jeep, they jumped to take care of me. And they took care of me WAAAAY above and beyond. All the way in Michigan. I now represent PANCHOS way out here. Best surf shop around. Thanks, guys! You always have been, and always will be my favorite. Looking forward to the next time I'm in the area!
