Lido Restaurant & Lounge

This was such a lovely little date night spot. We haven’t gotten to eat here before, and it was worth the visit. The food was delicious. I got a white fish and my wife got a beet salad. They also had great bread for appetizers. Since we were celebrating our baby moon they also treated us to a crème brûlée!

We came back to Dolphin Bay & Lido. Their menu changed a lot! They kept some classics that were taken to the next level.

The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Welcomed as soon as you walk in.

Mojitos are still the best! There are so many things to compliment. I'm adding adding pics from the ribs NOW versus before. They were good before, but fall of the bone and smokey this time. We ended up with two orders! You could peel the meat off the bone that's how tender they were (BBQ Fan).

Bloody Mary mix that is OUT OF THIS WORLD (I have no idea who thought it was too spicy, but this is California)! I don't like hot without flavor. They make their own mix and you can tell. The bartender let me sip it just in case. I could drink it just to drink over ice. It's the best mix I have ever had. Plus, she was able to make it into a Michelada instead. Maybe that's why it was too spicy for some? Vodka has its own zing.

They still have the Lido burger, but the Smash burger was delicious. Pecorino fries are always a must have and the eggs Benedict. I tried the brunch and was pleasantly surprised by the bread pudding. It was pumpkin (no nuts or raisins yay) with a caramel sauce at the bottom. Again, ended up with two of those. One at brunch and took one to go. It reminded me of English toffee sticky pudding (my favorites). and I didn't get to taste the bread pudding.

I can definitely see a change in the menu as well as the quality of how things are prepared.

The portions are large so it's so easy to get full. But everything I tasted and drank was stellar! The staff is amazing and super friendly and accommodating. They go above and beyond here. Even if you don't stay at DB, come check out the bar, happy hour, brunch and food. They have a lot to choose from.

Oh, random .. I almost forgot! For the kiddos. Try the chicken nuggets. Not frozen! Crispy freshly made nuggets. 5 star even for your kiddos! I love this place! You have to stop by, trust me, they have the best bar tenders and an exquisite menu!

It's off-season, midweek and we were already turned away from another restaurant who had shut down their kitchen an hour early. The staff at Lido seated us even though it was getting late.
Fantastic clam chowder and incredible spicy crab cakes. The Lobster bucatini was possibly the best pasta I've ever had and I've eaten all over Italy. The waitress asked us if we were celebrating anything and I said my mother was turning 86 next month. She surprised us at the end with amazing Creme brulee. We'll be back. HIGHLY recommend.

Everytime We're in SLO we have dinner here at least one night. Delicious food, beautiful views and wonderful service! Thank you for the wonderful service and food. Will be back soon.

Every. Single. Thing. We had to eat here was fantastic! We ate there for brunch & dinner for most of our 5 night stay at the Dolphin Bay Resort. Service was prompt (in spite of the fact that we never had reservations - this is potentially because we arrived on a Tue. in Oct.). Not only was the food amazing but the servers were great, too!

Romantic, dim, candle lit atmosphere with delicious cocktails and huge wine selection. HIGHLY suggest for a date night! Easily the classiest, most intimate dinner setting in the Pismo Beach area. (shout out to bartender Matt who makes the best cucumber jalapeño margaritas)

A lot of Pismo restaurants are either a “beach shack” vibe or an Outback Steakhouse kinda feel. But if you’re looking for a unique swanky delicious date spot… this is the place to be. I feel like people overlook this place being part of a “resort”. Don’t make that mistake! 🙏🏼

Also, I haven’t been here for brunch yet but I hear it’s amazing! Bottomless mimosas & an eggs Benny yes please.

Excellent service and great ambience in the patio!! Our waiter was super considerate of our needs and helped graciously with everything. The roasted beet salad for brunch was delicious!! Definitely want to visit again.

Lido is a hidden gem in the Shell Beach / Pismo Beach area. We literally ran into it walking alongside the cliff next to the Spyglass Inn, in search for a sunset view dinner. Given the Easter weekend, this was a far shot.

Lido is part of the pool-side restaurant at Dolphin Bay resort. The tables are outdoors but also behind a glass with plenty of heaters so you don't get cold. But what all of this delivers is a breath-taking sunset view with dinner. Even without the food, just this atmosphere deserves 5 stars.

Now let's get to the food. Amazing fresh-baked bread welcomed us. Oysters were absolutely fresh and delicious. The beef carpaccio was even better. And the scallops were cooked to perfection - no fishy taste while being balanced with bean sprouts (that's a first!). We genuinely enjoyed a quality meal prepared with care and creativity.

We do not live nearby but Lido now is a must-stop location for us whenever we drive by Pismo Beach.

Loved the food here. From the starters to desert. The restaurant is beautiful Inside with the tables spaced out nicely so you don't feel crammed up. The employees from the hostess and up to the manager were super friendly and helpful. A little something me and my wife love to see is a manager out there talking and checking with the customers. An she scored a 10 with us. The staff are always a part of the dinner experience. An there smiles and friendliness makes the dinner a better experience.Part of my wife's meal came out a little cold but they quickly fixed it so that we could enjoy our meal together. We'll be seeing on our next trip up to Pismo.

On our way to San Francisco we stopped over at this restaurant after reading the reviews for this area. I was able to get a seat outside where I could see the beach and the cliff. The service was very fast and quick. I enjoyed the shrimp tacos. The portion was of a good size and I think after enjoying this beautiful experience I might stop over again at this location if I'm traveling in between Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Came here bc of the reviews. The staffs were very accommodating. The location is great! The food, let's break it down:
• chowder w/ side of shrimp- taste was ok, price was decent;
▪ side of 5 shrimps- taste was, price $17
• oysters- taste was ok, visual.... about the size of a quarter, price was ridiculous for the visual... 6/ $18
• Ribeye w/ side of lobster- ribeye was ok, not exceptional for that price.. $60;
▪lobster- taste was ok, not exceptional for that price, visual- size of my small palm... $45
• linguine alle vongle (pasta w/ clams) w/side of 5 shrimp- pasta was good, without the crunch each time I chewed on the clams, price is on the higher end... $30;

Overall- food was ok but not worth the price.

Robin/ mgr from Lido restaurant contacted me and we've talked about our experience. After our conversation I've decided to change my rate from 3 to 5 for exceptional customer service! Don't get me wrong, food is still rated a 3 star.

No mgr/management has ever taken the initiative to contact me when my ratings were not up to par
I'm very impressed by how Mrs. Robin handled our situation 👏🙌👍.

@ Lido's restaurant- you've got an awesome manager along with great staffs. Im sure if a manager is willing to go above and beyond for a customer, I hope they'll do the same for the staffs.. great teamwork! However way you train your people- I give you a 5 🌟 for customer service. Please inform all your staffs.

Work breakfast so the service was a little slow but they kept things nice and warm on a gloomy morning with heaters. The Florentine was tasty along with the potatoes and added bacon. Very pretty and yummy cappuccino.

05/2/2022 We visited the restaurant the 2nd time. We still loved this restaurant. The foods were amazing. We had the whole branzino and the bouillabaisses. The branzino was so good. That was one of the two best fish experiences that had in my life that I could remember. I am not fancy about the breads that served before the meals. The service was excellent. We will come again.

Excellent foods and wine menu. On the pricey side. The view is excellent. I had the salmon. It was marvelous

Great scenery, and a wonderful dinner. Each dish was well crafted, fun, and they went the extra mile for a special anniversary celebration. Can't wait to return.

We were a party of 6 ladies that came in for an early dinner. Some of us can be a handful but Lido was a great experience! We ordered all the following. A delicious
Berry Lemon drop.. Smooth, with a berry flavor, an excellent twist of the lemon drop.
A glass of Rose, perfect for me! The Lido Burger, 16oz n.y. strip steak, a poivre, shrimp and lobster linguini, truffle fries, and Roasted herbed 1/2 chicken.
The Lido Burger... cooked to medium. Came with butter lettuce, 3 strips of bacon, cheese, tomatoe, and a thousand island sauce? Cooked perfectly and the meat was so flavorful. The steak...Ordered to be cooked at medium, came out medium well. The waitreas kindly removed my plate and had it redone and packaged to go for me! The shrimp... al dented, shrimp is cooked well. A little bland in flavor. Two orders of truffle fries... cooked to perfection with the best aioli, moderate amount of garlic flavor, and grand padano! Crispy yet moist of a potatoe!!! I could eat them all day. Michele came out to apologize and stated that steak was cooked to correct temp. I asked for more of a pink medium as to the steak was more brown. She did remove it from the bill. Olive oil citrus cake is the best dessert I have EVER tasted! I can't rave about this cake enough! Came with smoked sea salt, candied orange, and a citrus anglaise. Absolutely the BOMB! The bourbon apple crisp was delicious as well. Salina, our waitress, did an amazing job! I absolutely loved her her patience with our group. She boosted my review to 5 stars. This is a restaurant to experince if you are local or passing through. Loved & Enjoyed it 100%.

Treated like royalty on our 20th anniversary. Filet mignon was superb, alcohol selection was on point, and the view of the sunset was incredible (they saved us the perfect table). I mentioned it was our anniversary and they brought out this unbelievable dessert. Best experience ever!!

Another great meal for the holidays at Lido! The entire staff is top notch from the valet, to the host, all the servers … never had a bad meal here. We ate outside (Covid) and loved the heaters. Oysters & kaluga caviar for our family dinner - absolutely delicious!

Had an early Mothers Day Brunch for my mom this past weekend with my bestfriend and her mom. And once again Lido did not disappoint! The food/drink(bottomless mimosas😉), service, atmosphere, location, all of it was perfect that day! Thank you so much Lido for contributing to such a wonderful day and celebration for our moms💕 We will be back!

What's not to love! Great food and drinks, staff very accommodating and beautiful views. Patio is dog friendly. And there are umbrellas and heaters to keep you comfortable.
