Monroe Co-Op

Monroe Co-op has some of the friendliest, most helpful people you'll find around. The prices are great compared to normal retailers (one thing alone for our chickens is almost $5 cheaper!) and you're supporting our community when you shop here. 11/10 I highly recommend it!

Very nice store that reminded me of our local Grange co-op. We were staying at the fairgrounds across the street for a building project and I went to this store because we were traveling with our dog.

They had my regular brand of dog food, and other necessities I needed to keep our travel with the puppy smooth and happy. Staff was friendly and the store front was inviting with ample parking.

I didn't need a lot of my regular stuff on this trip, stuff like chicken feed, plant starts, hoses etc. But I think this place probably has all that and more.

If I lived in the area I'm sure I would definitely join!

Staff here is ALWAYS on point. And as much a I want to use a more local co-op that I won't name, this one exceeds my expectations every time. They are ACTUALLY open when hours are said to be open, and always have what I'm looking for, in the VERY rare case they don't they try to accommodate it for next time while also researching a place I can find it now. THANKS EVERYONE!

Great place to get not only your farm essentials such as feed and hay, but they also have wild bird feed, squirrel feed, presto logs, and all kinds of other things. Not to mention they service propane for people (take your tank and get it refilled). Give them a chance. They won't disappoint

I love the monroe co op, the staff are very friendly and helpful and they have a huge selection for every farm animal or farm need. I've recommended many people to the co op and they are all happy shopping they as well.

Bought a 5 and 1 vaccine for my puppy. They had nice boots , nice friendly service. Very helpful.

Needed fly spray for my horse. Helpful staff. The place has been completely upgraded over the last year. Very nicely done. They also sell the Capitol Press; a regional newspaper that caters to agribusiness ' farmers ranchers etc.

Affordable prices, very proactive knowledgeable staff, sufficient stock.

Always super friendly and helpful staff. They have an impressive selection of stuff, including a huge warehouse full of their own high-quality feeds. They're competitive both with their prices and their range (often after spending hours researching a particular brand or book online, I'll discover the exact same thing - but cheaper - in their store).

During chick season they have a constantly changing selection of breeds - from standard/popular breeds through to unusual and rare finds. They are also responsible with their chick stocks and don't over-order like some big-name chain farm stores do.

The membership program has changed in late 2022 and they might still be working out some kinks.

If you have livestock of any variety (large or small) and you live in the area, this should probbly be one of your frequent hang outs!

The young lady who helped me was polite and attentive. She also gave me helpful advice on a topic I knew nothing about, which was rather nice of her, as she probably could have upsold me instead.

This is a great place to go when your just starting out. Staff was friendly and very helpful with my chicken raising questions. I am building a coop and yard and they had great prices on materials needed for my project. Cheaper even than the big box stores. I am also getting all my feed and bedding supplies here at a great price.

Oh my gosh I LOVE the Co-op. Everyone is so friendly, when they ring up your items they ask about your pets and really get to know you and build a relationship. Unlike those chains that get you in and out like you’re just a price tag.
I will only go to the co-op. If they don’t have what I need I’ll go the next town over to another co-op ❤ We love our locals🐴

Great place to come for what you need. I have 3 dogs and quail. This place keeps my pack and covey happy and healthy with great choices in food, supplies, and care/health items. Plus they have a frequent buyers program for dog food! The employees are very friendly, too!

Fantastic staff, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable... Very good supply of all the things we need for our farm. Very willing to help out in any way they can. Feed loaders and delivery drivers are fantastic, always go the extra mile to help out. Actually, they all do. Love the Co-op.

This place is filled with good people. They have what we need at affordable prices. I have been a loyal customer for over 3 years. They also deliver but we never used that part of their services. They also have customer appreciation day where you get things on sale. And they send you money in the mail every year!!! Who doesn’t love free money?!?
