Shore Cliff Hotel

We loved staying at Shore Cliff! The room was lovely and the staff was exceptionally gracious. I especially appreciate the cleaning crew's willingness to refrain from using chemicals or fragrances in deference to my sensitivities. I can't tell you how hard it is for me to find a "healthy" hotel room. They did a great job! The views were beautiful, the breakfast was very good, and the gulls were entertaining. We will definitely return for a longer stay.

Being a local that has stayed at quite a few hotels that overlook the ocean, this is now my new favorite little gem! I will be returning here, no doubt. The front desk service was exceptional - a huge thank you to Sonja that went above and beyond just normal customer service! The views, and clean updated rooms is worth every penny. Being here helped clear my mind and recharge my batteries - was a quiet place to read and write. For reference, my room was on the right side, closest to Ventana Grill restaurant. Stunning views!!

I am so glad I booked with shore cliff. My visit was awesome. Friendly staff and breakfast was included. The view was amazing. It is very nice location with the view of the ocean. Room was clean. I asked if I can check out a little bit later and they were happy to accommodate.

Where to begin... Very nice place. We decided last minute (yesterday) that we would head to the coast. Glad my wife chose this hotel. Great view of the coast and the beach. An added unexpected extra was the walkway that goes along the cliff and the beach; even goes over a bridge. The walkway goes behind all the hotels and there are very nice lookout points and some well built steps down to the beach. The breakfast was GREAT! The room was very nice as well. The pics are looking back at the Sea Cliff Hotel, to give you an idea how far the walkway goes. Was easy to reserve last minute off sea. The Red Head was harder to book, something about budget meetings but was able to work it out :)We will be back

The swing in the back is very comfy and big enough for two people. The walkway behind the hotels along the bluff is amazing with easy beach access and accommodations for dogs. The sidewalk in front of the hotels is also nice in case the back walkway is closed after hours. Location is perfect, within walking distance from a couple restaurants/bars. Rooms are clean and nice. The ocean view was amazing!

We LOVE the Shore Cliff, it’s like an annual pilgrimage. It is nestled half-way between our favorite coffee place and the Pismo Beach pier. The views are spectacular and the sound of the waves at night is like being immersed in a surround sound meditation chamber. The service is first rate I would recommend this place to anyone traveling up the coast in need of some rest and relaxation.

Pismo is a favorite place of mine. I don’t think I can ever come here and not check in at Shore Cliff. I only have wonderful things to say about this place. If there’s anything higher than a 5 star, that’s how much I will rate this hotel. The staff were all wonderful, respectful and kind. The room and facility is very clean, everything is well kept. The proximity to the pier, the walkway along the cliff, and the stairs down to the beach are added bonuses. During low tide you can explore the caves under the cliffs. If you’ve only checked in by the pier, you are missing out big time! The breakfast was delicious and you can go up to the gym to burn all the calories if you like. Heated pool and hot tub. And most of all, we are so grateful for the pleasant anniversary surprise they had for us. A beautiful kissing swans with rose petals on our bed and 2 champagne glasses with Sparkling Cider in fridge. Yes they have a fridge, microwave, kettle and Keurig. Really, what else can you ask for. Overall, THANK YOU Shore Cliff for this wonderful stay and best anniversary celebration! ♥♥♥

The new $15 per night parking fee was a surprise… And there is a $35 per night resort fee as well. But it is what it is.

Service and staff were so hospitable and pleasant! Everyone seemed happy to be there. Breakfast was good.

There are many seagulls and pelicans! They are very cute and not afraid of people however, they cry at night at times so if you are a light sleeper it may disturb you. The sound insulation between rooms is not the best but it was still generally quiet throughout my stay.

Amazing view of the bay from outside your room. Walkable restaurants near by. Free breakfast in the morning 😋,Fireplace outside to enjoy in the evening, heated pool.Amazing view of the sunset. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Our room was fantastic, view from balcony was beautiful. Breakfast was great. The virtual assistant was a nice touch. We felt very well taken care of. Will definitely stay here again.

Seriously the best hotel experience by far that I have ever had while traveling. We stayed from Friday to Monday and had the most welcoming experience. This was all because of a front desk agent named Samantha. She really went out of her way to be friendly, give us local tips and even went as far as to call and see if the store still had hott soup available because I wasn’t feel well the last night. She really went out of her way every time we saw her to make sure we were happy and having a good trip. Her energy and good vibes about her are unmatched. So thank you Samantha for really making this experience that much better..
For the record I have never in my life wrote a review good or bad but I had to write one about Samantha and our trip to The Shore Cliff!!

This was such a gorgeous vacation spot! Rooms were beautiful and reasonably priced. The view was perfection. Free breakfast buffet hit the spot every morning! Cannot recommend this place enough.

I cannot say enough about the location of this hotel. Not only are the grounds gorgeous and the views from the rooms incredible, from here you can walk along the cliff, down the steps to the beach, and follow the beach to the Pismo Pier. It's fantastic to be able to walk to downdown Pismo Beach and enjoy the beach without needed to rent a car, etc. For business travel, this was very convenient, comfortable, and I couldn't get enough of the views, the pelicans, the gardens, and the on site restaurant.

Everything was clean & great. room service was fast & friendly, no complaints. just do be in a hurry if ur using the elavator is very small a d a bit on the slow side. Other than that it was a great stay, and of course the view is beautiful. 5 stars for us!

We just stayed for one night while we were checking out Cal Poly. The customer service was great. The beds were comfortable. The view was amazing. I enjoyed hearing the waves crash while I was going to sleep. Highly recommend!

The location and staff sure made our 1 nighter a pleasant one. We really got some good pics of the sunset and at the time the waves was pounding when we checked in. Will Dream about staying here again.

Wow! What a profoundly spectacular view. Lovely staff and great room and to hear the ocean from our room and wake up to such a breathtaking view. Amazing. Will be back.
