I think it's official. The wife and I are the first customers to eat at Tijuana's since sno county entered phase 2. I am sitting in a booth drinking margaritas. Are you jealous??? Tijuana's has all the precautions taken care of that is required. You should should be here. 5 stars every time we come here. Moises remodeled and has new floors and bathrooms. Carne en su jugo tonight. Delicious.

This is the best Mexican food I have ever had!It is family owned and run. The atmosphere is feastive. We loved it so much we celebrate birthdays and other occasions there. The chips and salsa are always fresh and incomparably delicious. There are healthy options such as salads with grilled chicken avocado and a great homemade vinaigrette as well as incredible soups, egg dishes, vegetarian, seafood and more. We have never had a dish we didn't live. A true gem in Monroe

The table-side guacamole was amazing! We don't know what the extra seasoning was, but it brings the guacamole to a whole different level of great food.

There are many reasons to go eat here, but two of them are they MAKE the most delicious salsa and their service is second to none. I will add the food I ate, the fajita burrito, was phenomenal. Go and enjoy some great Mexican food

My wife and I have been here many times and love the food and service. We recently went for my wife's birthday with a total of 9 people. The service was great, they came out and sang happy birthday, and even brought out free desert for everyone. We will continue to spend our money at this local family run business.

Love their food, the staff (family run) and atmosphere! Whether we go with friends or just on a date night, Tijuana's is our favorite. One of my favorite dishes is Camarones Tijuana, bacon wrapped shrimp with peppers and their special seasoning. Sirenia stops by during dinner to make sure everything is perfect. It's a wonderful place to spend the evening! And I highly recommend their raspberry margaritas.

We ordered catering from Tijuana Restaurant for our small backyard wedding at an airbnb in Index. The food was delivered hot (even though the driver got a bit lost- my fault for not sending better instructions). The driver was incredibly polite and professional and the food was AMAZING.

We ordered street tacos, enchiladas, tamales (my fave), ceviche, quesadillas, and a bunch of other items. My husbands favorite item was the ceviche... and the complimentary salsa, which came in big to go containers which we’ll be eating for weeks to come. The chicken burrito appetizers we ordered were amazing and disappeared quick! It was all so good and the communication before the event was top notch. I will definitely be dining here again and ordering catering from them if I ever have another event in the area. I cant say enough good things about this place! Can’t wait to dine in and try a marg. :)

Family owned. This is where the locals eat. Just off Hwy 2 on main street. Everything is made fresh including the salsa. We've been going for years and the food is always the best anywhere. They have a diverse menu so give them a try and enjoy!

This is my favorite place to go for Mexican food. The owners are friendly, and the food is not like your typical restaurant that's drowned in tomatoe sauce. The portions are huge, the beer is on tap, and I haven't found any place that compares with the quality of the food.
Try their chili relleno, it's made from pasilla chillies and by far the best I've had since leaving New Mexico.

Dinner here last night was absolute perfection! My fiance's prawn burrito was delicious and the prawns were flawlessly cooked, not chewy at all. I got the chille relleno which is refreshingly different from what I'm used to getting at Mexican restaurants. Instead of being mainly cheese based this relleno has less cheese than usual and really focuses on the the fresh flavors of the chille and delicious veggies in the sauce and inside. The egg fry absorbs the delicious sauce and gives you full flavor in every single bite. Even the chips and salsa are brag worthy.
The family atmosphere and kind employees help make the experience even better. This will be our new go to place. Thank you!

I love this place so much Felipe "El Capitán" whips up the best Mexican food in all of Monroe. This restaurant has all the joys of it's namesake. Situated in old Town Monroe this place is great for families and date night. Come in and have a horchata.

My new favorite Mexican in Monroe (actually, the entire Eastside). Fresh and delicious. Plenty of vegan options. Be sure to ask for the hot sauce if you like spice and the table side guacomole is fantastic. Rustic and casual. Friendly staff.

This is the only place in Monroe that sells Menudo and the way I like it. Without the hominy but the waiter's also ask if was good, she did not realize that I love it that way.

My mother would have to make me own without the hominy. Also they make both red and white. I am still full. The next time I go I will take pics. I have been getting Pho to try to get that same texture of food tripe.
