It is a very nice Veterans Memorial site.
I really appreciate that the Merchant Marines is recognized and included amongst the services... they have for some time been the forgotten branch who lost many during WWII.
My son is currently serving as a Merchant Mariner and a Commissioned USNavy Officer, as well.
I served 24 Years in the USNavy and USArmy - Combat Veteran - Desert Shield/Storm, GWOT Campaigns.
Is there a Veteran's Day service this 2021?
