Huntington State Park Campground

My dogs loved it, it was really windy in the afternoon. I thought our tent was going to blow away

Small lake, but the campground is quite nice.

We all had a GREAT TIME THIS WEEKEND!

Great clean park. People were respectful of quiet hours. Clean bathrooms!!

Campground was great for exploring the surrounding areas. Only complaint was heavy trucks going past the Campground after dark. Took getting used to. Otherwise it was a very nice place on the lake. Lake was seriously low. Would have been nicer if the water level was higher. Reasonable price for full rv hookups. Surprisingly level sites, generally.

We rented kayaks and paddle boards and played on the beach! All our kids had a blast. The free to borrow life jackets made it so much easier! Friendly and helpful park staff. Would recommend to locals and visitors!

Planned to be there 3 days, stayed 10. Beautiful location, great facilities, superior maintenance. Ranger was friendly and efficient. Spacious campsites with picnic tables, fire rings and trees. A few quaint towns nearby and a decent size town for any needs. Nine Mile Canyon and the Wedge were fun to explore. Good museums, lots of area history.

Loved this hidden gem. Beautiful lake so blue you can see the bottom. Has nice rv hookups.jetski rentals.nice quiet spot. Will go back if in the area.(oh yeah put on Lots of SUNBLOCK you will blister)speaking from experience.

The drought has killed most the grass. Praying the trees survive.
