Such a beautiful and worthwhile trail..!
True, the first 20 minutes will feel like a continuous stairmaster and you will burn lots of calories. (But keep going)
Took me, an out of shape 50 year old 35 minutes each way.
Plan to climb up the wooden tower for spectacular views.
Mostly shaded and surrounded by majestic trees.

Nice short trail. Can walk up the tower which is cool. Views are great.

Parking lot fills up quickly, as its right off the highway. Trail itself is clean, easy and perfect for family's and dogs with a couple steep parts. Took us about 40 mins up and 30 mins to go back down. It was a warm sunny day but youre in shade most of the time and there is a nice breeze at the top with a view of the mountains. Didn’t come across any streams so make sure to bring water.

The first half mile is muddy at times with no snow. After that you have to deal with snow the rest of the way until the lookout. I didn't use any poles or spikes and managed okay. The trail is pretty rocky and steep most of the way.  The very top of the lookout is closed right now but still had views from right below. Only saw 4 others on the trail today. Round trip 2.3 miles and 900 feet elevation gain.

Great trail with beautiful views only to be rewarded with a climb up the tower to have your breath taken away ❤

Fun short workout hike about 2.3 miles up and down. Elevation gain a little over 1,000 feet. The elevation gain is intent, but short hike. Beautiful view at the fire house look out. Parking maybe limited. It can be crowded on a sunny day.

Quick trail but straight up. Amazing views of the mountain top from the fire-lookout. The top doesn’t have much space! Will avoid if parking lot is full.

Nice afternoon easy hike.
The down side, it's a longer ride. Close to two hrs from south side of Seattle. Yet, relatively easy. Great view from the top.

A little over a mile long but even though it’s a moderate hike it should say that it’s a continuous incline you gain around 800 ft in a short hike. Parking of off the busy highway 2 and it’s limited. The lookout is pretty cool but the different views of Snoqualmie National Forest are even better.

Great trail for the entire family! Easy to access from the highway. High point is the views at the trails end.

It was a great hike and experience. The view from the top was amazing. Parts of the hike were easy but the hard parts were basically stepping up on rocks or tree roots of about 2 feet. It was a continuous climb but nothing crazy. Just beautiful!

It’s a climb, but so worth it. Straight up on an incline when headed up towards the lookout. The views are beautiful and so worth the hike. Coming back down is easy! Parking can be a bit hard if it’s a sunny/clear day.

Great short hike! It was 2.2 miles round trip for me per my Apple Watch. The views at the top of the lookout are breathtaking! Small parking lot off route 2 so I can see it filling up quickly.

FYI- no room to “social distance” near the top of the hike at and around the tower.

The epitome of the Pacific Northwest hiking trail; lush forest trail through massive elder trees, gigantic boulders, breathtaking views, and of course a few switchbacks along the way. This was slightly steeper than an average hike but the short length makes up for that. At the top you get to climb up an old fire watch tower and see mountains for what feels like forever!

I have not hiked in 7 years. This is a great medium hike to start with. The incline was not too bad but difficult. However it was worth the hike the scenery was spectacular!! I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a easy medium hike.

Hiked this on Jan 2, 21. Easy access to the trail off of Highway 2. Most of the snow has melted due to heavy rains but it is still fairly cold up there at the lookout.

Short trail (about 35-40 mins one way.. I think 2.2 miles round-trip). It was raining pretty hard all the way so bring a rain jacket if the weather isn't clear for the day.

You'll have to climb like a 100 stairs to get to the top of the lookout, and the views were amazing. Definitely coming back on a clear day!

Really nice, quick little hike. Make sure you're wearing good shoes or have strong ankles as the trail is a bit worn in some places. Fairly steep at times but the view at the top is pretty awesome.

Super nice hike with a reward at the top! Walk to the top of the lookout today for some amazing views
The hike to get there is a steady uphill trek for ~1 mile. The forest is beautiful, the trail is well maintained. It's worth the effort to get to the top. There is also a latrine up there. There are always kids on the hike too!
