This is a great little walk through nature. The area is a great little peek into an ecosystem. Lots of different plant and animal life to see.

This is a good kid friendly walk it is fairly short with very little elevation change. The trail is a series of loops within the bigger loop, so you could make the walk a little longer or shorter depending on what you are wanting.

There is a pond along the trail so you may encounter a few mosquitoes, but I have only ever seen a few of them during my trips there.

Happy trails!

Great beginning hike to train wee ones on trails. It feels like your deep in the woods and so close (sunny side area). No dogs, food or loud behavior. We even ran into a deer face to face (like 5’). She quietly disappeared into the forest. Lots of mushrooms, flora and fauna as it was a western university outdoor research center.

This place is absolutely one of the nicest and most beautiful trails I have been on in Washington. The copious amounts of fungus and plants is astonishing.

Only negative is no pets.😭

Deering wild flowers is one of my favorite short walks I enjoy taking. I love all the little mushrooms I find to take photos of. Not to busy, friendly people that live in the house next to deering. The little pond is nice to rest at listen to the birds and take a breather as ducks swim by you in the pond. Cant wait to see deering in the spring-summer time as we just found it in the fall time.

Nature conservancy of untouched forest. Easy trails with wildlife viewing and some old growth Douglas fir and Cedar. Nice bit of nature left in the middle of the city.

Seclusion and privacy in the middle of the suburbs lol! Nice walking trail very well kept, no dogs allowed though my only issue with this place but beautiful to walk through. Don't take your stroller if your bringing/have a baby, use a belly carrier.

Beautiful trail for a short getaway and dose of nature. Not too long of a hike but just enough.

The trail is as good as you could expect for dirt path through the woods. Lots of markers to keep you from getting lost. It's on the shorter side for sure but it's a nice local hike to take your kids on.

This was such a nice little hike/walk. It is great for small kids. I went with my 2 1/2 yr old twins and they loved it! There is a couple of different ways you can go. It was fun for them to choose which way we went.

Cute little park/conservation area in Marysvile. You can easily walk it in about 20 minutes, all level ground. Walking trail is well maintained. The care taker is friendly and very informative. Great little mid afternoon stroll location.

It's an easy walk and adventure for kids (3+). The trail is mostly flat (still be wary of roots), with little offshoots and loops along the way to change it up, and a bench or logs for snack breaks. There's a pond and a few little bridges that cross small creeks when it's wetter. It's also heavily shaded by the trees so it stays pretty cool, and you don't need to worry about sweating in direct sunlight for the most part. There are some wetlands though, so you might need bug spray. It's off the beaten path, so it doesn't get crowded as well.

All in all, it's a good trail for young kids and anyone else looking to enjoy a simple nature walk in the PNW.

First, I met Bob the cat. I came back later that day and tried to do the loop, but... Bob didn't let me. He meowed and made me pet him a bunch until I attempted to walk past him, at which point he walked in front of me, meowed with irritation and pretended to bite my shoe. So I kept petting him. I had to turn back without getting very far.

A hidden gem in Marysville. The caretaker is super nice, too. Just follow your nose on this tangle of trails. You may lose your way, but you won't get lost!

Gorgeous place to walk or run. Pavement trail is wide enough for families going opposite directions. Easy access from parking lot. If driving North on hwy 9 passed Marysville Walmart (on 64th), just after the roundabout, parking area is on your right. 20+ miles. We only ran a few miles. Not very hilly but not too flat either.
