Well staffed, knowledgeable vets. Just wish the vets weren't lazer focused on treating the purpose of the visit only and were more interested in the overall health of the equine such as teeth, hooves, sheath, etc.

I took our Mogan in for lameness issues. I was really happy with the service we received. The staff was super friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure I understood what was going on and kept my horse safe and comfortable. I couldn't ask for more.

Wonderful caring people. The veterinarian, Dr MacDonald was very knowledgeable and compassionate. Everyone from the receptionists to the barn staff was so kind and helpful.

MY PARTNER AND I WERE JUST TRANSPORTING A HORSE(THAT NEEDED SURGERY) TO PIONEER. THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO TAKE HORSE IF IT'S IN NEED OF ANY MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE SPRAWLING LOCATION IS VERY CLEAN AND WELL ESTABLISHED.

Best horse vet ever. The facility is amazing. Dr. Fidler came to my property once after hours to care for my mare and I saw her here in Oakdale again in person. She has been working with me for months on a super sweet mare I obtained with a disease. She explains everything in terms I can understand, she is very compassionate both to animals and owners. I’m very lucky to have found her. The office staff is also wonderful. I’ve had experience with both Amy and Cherie. I give this place and team 5 stars for sure and would give more if they had that option on Google. ❤🐎

Elizabeth at the desk was very caring, & helpful. I'm sorry I can't recall the young vet. that assisted us but she was so patient, knowledgeable, and great at explaining the situation and not nervous about giving us her honest opinion. Pioneer Equine Hospital is a nice, respectable and what I would consider a top notch facility and whereas it's never pleasant to need a vet. at least this is a caring place to make any situation a little easier to deal with.

The best care ever. I felt so blessed that Dr Jodi was on call to take care of my baby. Thank you everyone.

This is my go to vet for the past few years. We have had horses colic, bad leg injuries, pregnancies and just regular ol flu and cold. Very helpful doctors

Edit, I just lost my beloved horse and put him down at the facility. They were so kind, compassionate and reassuring that it was the best decision for him. They cried with me and even sent me a handwritten card of their condolences. A very special place with lovely people.

This place is excellent. Doctor Tasha took wonderful care of my horse. She knew what he had before the test came back. She was there for me when I came in with a sick horse late at night and always answered my phone calls. You just don’t find people like that. The facility was amazing I have never seen anything for for horses that nice. Super clean. Thank you for helping me

Pioneer Equine Hospital is such a great vet group. They are knowlegeable, compassionate and provide the best care possible. Our sweet horse was treated there over the summer and they saved his life. They went above and beyond what we ever expected and we saw first hand the great care our boy received. They were great about communicating how he was doing and keeping us aware of where his vet bill was. Everyone is awesome from the ladies at the desk, the vet techs, the pharmacy staff to the doctors. They have been there for us and our horses for the routine things and of course the emergencies. We are so grateful for Pioneer Equine Hospital!!

The good folks at Pioneer have been there for us for several horse surgeries, sometimes under emergency conditions. They are extremely compassionate for both the patient (horse) and owners. Highly recommend!

We had to bring our mini horse here on a Sunday for an emergency visit. The vet was super helpful and very nice (Sorry, I don’t remember her name). She explained what she was doing and was very professional. I was expecting to get a hefty bill because of the emergency visit, but it was pretty reasonable. Unfortunately we ended up having to put the mini down a few days later, but they gave it a valiant effort.

Dr. Kami and Dr. Henry are amazing! The facility is TOP notch! Saved my horse after he fought and lost to a t-post! Grateful for their care, bedside manners, friendliness and professionalism. ALL the staff!

Amazing Beautiful Clean Facility and extremely knowledgeable and friendly Veterinarians and Technicians. Always a great place to take your large and small animals.

Had to take my mini horse there to be euthanized - the friendly staff helped make an unpleasant experience bearable. They were professional and also allowed me to take the time I needed before and after to say goodbye.

Always professional and good at what they do. The Dr's are very thorough and straitforward. The Farriers are excellent as well. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Dr. Jackman and his team are amazing! They, truly have wrap around services. My friend took her horse to Dr. Jackman. The time and patience spent on diagnosising the issue was genuine and detailed. Great customer service!

This is a large well kept facility. They had plenty of staff even at emergency hours. An intern saw my horse and then a vet checked. I really don't want to have to do that again when my horse needs a rectal exam for colic. The less intrusion the better. I did let them do a blood test and other tests so it was very expensive to learn that we had an unknown reason for colic. But I am glad the facility is available and they treated us great!
